Best Money For Kids Backpacks

This backpack is too small. I used a diaper bag for my son and it's not very big. You only use it a few times and the side pocket is already torn. waste of money.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • No Machine

Small and cheap children's backpacks

For the price, I expected a little better quality. It was very thin and smaller than a standard backpack. If you have a toddler that just wants a place to store their toys that's probably fine, but I'm sure it wouldn't survive school with my son. I returned it.

Pros
  • Good marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Doesn't go with everything

Shiny backpack! - Children's backpacks

My son tries to take this backpack with him everywhere, even though he hasn't started school yet. It was good quality with a good thickness but not too heavy for a toddler. The colors on the bag are very vibrant and it has held up pretty well on mini trips to the park over the past few months.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good quality, size and picture.

Bright colors and crisp picture Blaze. Seems sturdy enough for my preschooler. I like that the front of the backpack isn't plastic like most character backpacks are. There is also a small extra zip pocket and side mesh pockets. Holds a camelbak bottle, great for my kids. Holds 8.5x11 sheets/binders and notepads.

Pros
  • a practical item
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Toddler Approved Backpacks

My youngest loves his new backpack which is perfect for preschool and kindergarten. It's the right size, definitely a happy backpacker who loves flames! Good material quality, I would buy again. (Won't make a good kindergarten/elementary school backpack as it's too small to hold a lot of things. Fits snugly in the lunch box and then somewhere on the lunch box. For example I add clothes in case he has an accident because he's potty training is and then he is full)

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

It's the perfect size for him

Correct me if I'm wrong but the description doesn't say anything about the size of the backpack so I figured it was a standard size. Thank goodness I ordered two Blaze backpacks because they were originally intended for my sophomore year but were too small so I had to alter them and give them to my 4 year old. This is the perfect size for him. The backpack doesn't look like it will be able to hold many things as it is not very durable. Otherwise I like it and my boys like it!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Useless features

Large size for a child in PreK or kindergarten.

Great backpack for a very small child. We bought this for our almost 3 year old grandson who loves the Blaze. It fits in his LL Bean lunchbox, but no more. The outer zip pocket is suitable for notes and artwork from kindergarten. The side mesh pockets are perfect for his thermos or water bottle. Small enough to carry on your back like a "big boy" but not too heavy. That would probably not be enough for a child in kindergarten or first grade. The design of the backpack is colorful and our…

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • I don't like anything, everything is fine

Perfect for boys Pre-K & K

My son is almost 5 years old and is going to kindergarten. We tried several backpacks but all were either too small to fit in binders or too big. This one is perfect! It's very light but made of good material and has great colors. Nice adjustable and wide straps that won't fall down. Ideal vertical size as it is slightly larger than a standard binder allowing the binder and notepads to fit nicely but there is no added unnecessary space and bulkiness. The teachers added that most children have…

  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things

Son loves it, average quality

I'm 42 inches tall almost 4 years old and this is the perfect size for him. Holds his blanket, change of clothes and lunch box. Not too big or bulky to carry around Has a zippered front pocket, zippered main section and side mesh for a water bottle UPDATE AFTER 4 WEEKS OF USE: The hanging loop broke (similar to others) Son loves the backpack and is using it it still. I re-stitched the loop and it works. He is in Pre-K and uses it every day (change of clothes, lunch box and water bottle)…

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Damaged
