My parrot loves these things.

It took 6 months to catch his attention. Birds are just like that, when you want to take something from their kingdom, they decide it's time to destroy it. He likes to destroy his enemies and his cupcake made the enemies list. So the cupcake doesn't last long once discovered. He loves a few weeks before his enemies meet a slow, agonizing death.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Obsolete model

My bird hates EVERYTHING! But he loves it!

My parrot Bob Garcia is very picky. The only toys that ever interested him were his bell and mirror. But I bought this in hopes that he will chew it and file his beak a bit. I put some birdseed in a muffin pan and it worked! He was attracted to the toy and has been chewing on it ever since. This helps shorten its beak and gives it something to do. A clear victory in my house!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Sala rootballs are soft as cork, so great for little beaks that can't chew through hard wood. My Quaker parrot loves tearing it apart. I have now ordered a few as she loves this toy so much. The balls are about 2 inches in diameter, so it will take her some time to cut them into pieces. You can find them cheaper on Bonka Birds website. and other small birds.

  • Dope 🔥

Quaker parrot loves it!

I have bought two parrot toys from this company and I am very happy with both. My Quaker parrot can hack and loves this toy. You can't see it in the photo but there is a bell on the bottom of the cupcake paper which adds to the fun. It came in sealed packaging (which I appreciate for bird disease infestations!) and arrived quickly. The equipment was safe for birds and the price reasonable. I will order more guys from this company.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • No performance

Smitty gives him 5 stars

Smitty, my 20 year old Gray African, has had hundreds of toys in his 20 years on this earth. And he can be very, very picky. He loves these cupcakes. He is also very shy when the camera comes out. That's why I didn't get many videos. But he loves these cupcakes very much. I can't give it five stars for durability as it doesn't last long depending on the bird. It lasts from one week to three weeks. But toys are for play, so I'm very happy with them. You are worth your money. It serves its…

parrot LOVES it. but not for long!

Our 6 month old cockatiel loves this toy! He took an interest in her from the moment I put her in his cage. This is really the only toy in which he showed any great interest. Included. while being strong enough to be handled by a human. it is easily torn apart by a bird. I'm not sure if that's bad. Textures, materials and design make it irresistible. But it won't be long, that's for sure. I MAYBE give it a week before it completely destroys it. I'm not entirely sure it's worth the money for a…

  • Great construction

The average time to complete destruction is about three days

I have three caiques and they love to shred. Even what has already been crushed. The first time I bought "a cake". The sola-atta ball lasted about a day. It took them a little longer to sort out the cupcake paper cups - I guess because the paper cups aren't that interesting without the sponge sola atta balls. Next time I ordered two "cake" toys. -- a single and a 2-pie. Again they were the first to destroy the solaballs. It took a little longer because there were three Solballs this time. For…

  • Lots of positive emotions

MY BIRD LOVES: Toys

I have a lovebird. She immediately got into it! She loves it. It also took longer for her to destroy everything due to various tears. I would say it took her 2-3 months to destroy it? Maybe 4 can't remember. But I think I might buy it again. She loved him and sometimes even sat on him. Good product! Looked exactly like the photo but the cupcake pieces were green and purple! (Maybe pink again, I don't remember very well) I wish I had taken a picture when it arrived but it was a very good size…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as fat as other toys

Happy Quaker Parrot!

I first bought this toy with just a cupcake. After first throwing a stinky eye, thinking it was evil, my Quaker parrot finally decided to give it a try. He was having so much fun! This entertained him for a while until he became a demolitions pro. After she left, he turned to other toys but didn't seem that excited. Until I bought this one with THREE cupcakes. My Parrot Pretended He Won The Lottery! Not only did he have another cupcake toy, now he had stacked three cupcakes on top of each…
