great for making vacuum lines on a classic car

Bought this tube to make nice vacuum lines on a 1967 Firebird Convertible. It's easy to shape and bend, won't collapse, and looks great.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • when in doubt

3/8 " bends for hose, pipe and fittings

Conventional 1" radius benders bend or flatten this 3/8 pipe. It's easier to bend than steel, but bends and bends easily. I would return it after my first test if it were possible.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Easy to do with.

Uses copper-nickel tubing for transmission oil cooling and fuel lines. Easy to use without twisting when bending. Easier to flare than steel pipes. Excellent heat conductor for cooling liquids. Also ideal for brake lines.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Available in black only

Great material to work with, won't rust and looks great!

Copper Nickel Rigid cord is a great material to work with. I used 3/8" for the extended transmission coolant lines and 3/16" for the brake lines. forms accents much better than stainless steel, looks better and is much easier to work with.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Almost never

Much easier than steel pipes!

I love this thing! It bends easily but doesn't bend. I bought a 3/8" to replace rusted fuel lines and it saves a lot of time going under the car. It usually requires bending tools and can be quite tricky. This line is very easy to bend by hand and that Best part, it's corrosion resistant!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Updates

Ideal solution for expensive fuel or transmission lines

If you are good with tools then this is a great opportunity to rebuild a fuel or transmission cooler line! For $40 you can rebuild the entire fuel system and it will never rust again! The line flexes slightly, although I'd be wary of performance or off-road applications.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Update available

Relatively easy to work with NiCopp brake lines.

As with all auto work, safety is the most important factor. Flaring the brake line requires a pretty good flare. You have to keep in mind that working on older cars causes problems with rust, rot and freezing. parts. The vehicle must be properly jacked up after jacking up.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • High price

WAY Better Than Steel Line

I have used copper-nickel alloy tubing exclusively in auto repairs for the last 15 years for brake lines and transmission cooling lines (for fuel I would recommend nylon repair lines). For me, steel pipes no longer exist. For those of you in the Rust Belt this is a must see. I've seen a replacement steel tube rot after just a year of installation. I've never seen a copper-nickel line fail on me. In addition, this tube bends, takes shape and expands easily, and the connections are almost alwaysโ€ฆ

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Some Bugs

Just go and buy them.

These are the best strings you could ever use. Slight bend. Light ignition. They look good and never rust. They can cost a little more than standard lines but to be honest I'd pay double what they currently sell to get them again if needed. Also a great company 4lifetimelines. They offer a quality product at a very reasonable price and even come with plenty of fittings to complete the installation. I rarely write a review. Usually when I write one, it's a negative review. I have nothingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Good but not great
