So far, so good. good for ignition parts

They were only installed a few days but so far my misfires are gone. Installed on the F-150 2005, 5.4 liters. Fit well and cured my misfire problem along with changing the spark plugs. No idea how old the original coils are (172,000 miles on the truck) and about 70,000 on the spark plugs. Time will tell how they hold up, but they cost several times less than OEM.

    • Sturdy construction

My problem with the 2005 Miss F-150 has been solved

Bobbins were well packaged and looked good quality. I had a small slip with my 2005 5.4L F-150 when it was tilted slightly but hadn't coded yet. Replacing all the coils with this brand/product solved this problem and gave the motor back most of its original performance. Candles have changed to 130k but at 170k it's time for the coils. In my case, it's worth the time and money invested.

    • Handy item

    • No instructions

At $73 per spool in the Auto Zone I replaced all 8 spool packs for only $69. the quality seems to be very good so far. Even if they only last 2 or 3 years I would buy them again at this price. Great product, even the seams like my truck have a little more power. Also, my gas mileage went from 15 to 18mpg before the coils were changed.

    • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Installed myself in a 2006 F150 5.4 liter V8 with 125,000 miles. It took about 2 hours. The truck stops at a speed of 40-50 km / h. They fixed it and now the truck is working great. I changed the spark plugs after about 90,000 miles, so I knew the misfire wasn't coming from the spark plugs themselves. They arrived well wrapped and boxed the next day and appear to be of high quality. The entire 8 coil pack was $70 and the local auto parts store was asking over $200 for the 8 coil pack. They've…

    ABSOLUTELY TRASH! fits coil packs

If I could rate it lower I would. I replaced the intake manifold and decided to replace all the coil packs as I would still have to remove and reinstall them, what a mistake. It's been less than a week and all I've done is chase intermittent misfires. My mechanic had to come to my house three times and I spent more hours removing and reinstalling old ones than I care to admit. It's also my main work truck, so I don't make any money if it doesn't work. Finally last night after changing #1 and #3

So far so good in Ignition Parts

I replaced the original coils on my 06 F160 4.6 with these after the insulation on the old coils started to degrade. Installation was easier than changing the spark plugs yourself. So far everything has been running smoothly, no dropouts, etc. I didn't notice any noticeable changes in consumption or anything else (good or bad), but I didn't expect that either. The coils themselves proved stronger than I expected for the price. Installing it with a new set of spark plugs made my truck idle…

    • Great for me

    • Out of fashion

Fixed my P0300 code on my 2006 Explorer 4.6L. VERY easy to install. The product appears to be of very high quality, especially the boots (FYI to any reader, boots are one of the main reasons why a coil "fails". Often times it's not the coil itself but rather a boot that is broken and sparking on coil has metal finish when spark plug wires break.) Product also looks good mounted on engine. Finally, the price was great. I really only wanted the yellow ones ($10 off) but this red "racing" version…

    How nice! for ignition parts

I love how inexpensive these ignition coils are. They look solid and should be of decent quality. The packaging was amazing. I had no problem installing these ignition coils on my '99 Grand Marquis. The electrical connectors have to be firmly squeezed and wiggled to actually snap into place, but that's fine. My car has 48,000 miles but it had original ignition coils that were flooded with antifreeze when the intake manifold failed. These coils appear to make the motor more responsive and…

Perfect fit at a fraction of the OEM cost.

FYI -- F-150 2004-2008 if you feel a wobble at about 50 mph when going uphill that makes it feel like your transmission is slipping, tune in with new spark plugs first and replace also the coils. I asked the dealer to replace my spark plugs due to the notorious spark plug failures in this F-150 generation and the price for a tool to remove the failed spark plug matched the dealer's cost. Unfortunately, the cost of replacing the coil pack was astronomical. So I let them do the setup and hoped…
