I was able to throw away a bunch of crumpled up crayons and crayons and fit all the crayons, pencils and markers into this case. Now our daughter can easily capture everything at once. Also works great in the car. Here is a video showing the inside of the case.

Holds lots of pens. They are very close together and don't work with large handles. I slipped a couple of Papermate Flair pens in and had to skip a loop on all three to make them fit. I love the detachable velcro straps so I can adjust it to suit what I need to take with me or even just pull one out if I don't want to take the whole bag with me.

I bought these to keep my watercolor pencils in my backpack but was a bit skeptical that 72 pencils would fit comfortably and then some more. it does. Using all three cases leaves little room for other loose items, but preserves SOME. Good, holds many art pens/pencils, markers, erasers etc. The durability seems more than satisfactory and it is quite effective for its purpose. The bad news is that it has more slots for pens etc than it actually can. If you pack this with mix or markers, pencils and crayons, expect to use up only about half the supply. I am delighted with this purchase! I was looking for a case to store my new Clover Amour hooks in and this did the trick! I was concerned that the elastic bands might be too small to hold bulkier pens, but because they're rubberized they stay in place and the elastic band stretches to accommodate any size. I originally bought these for my art pencils but when this case arrived I remembered I have a set of 132 colored pencils not 72 so I reconsidered how to use this case. Then I remembered that I use these gel pens for journaling: rollerball gel pens, all kinds of gel pens (glitter, metallic, neon) and fine-tipped colored markers. Not what I expected although I gave it an extra star for being able to get it to hold multiple types of pens. In fact, it's only intended for use with standard pens. While the various brush pens/markers barely fit in the loops, you certainly can't fit a whole bunch, let alone 72. It has 3 "sleeves" for pens and 2 are removable (velcro). Each sleeve has 12 slots on each side. It's a real agony getting my Staedtler liners in and out. The MOST IMPORTANT disadvantage for me. Which is a bit crazy…
