Good printer for 11 months - terrible customer service

Great printer for 11 months. Then the seal became blurred. I cleaned the printheads and did a "Print Head Nozzle Check". Not much better. Did that four more times. Not better yet. Contact Epson online support. The firmware has been updated. Not better yet. Installed new cartridges, didn't get any better. Call Epson Technical Support. We chatted while we took out the cartridges and read the numbers on them so they could be sure they were Epson cartridges. Then the print heads were cleaned. So…

Make. no Obtain. for printers and accessories

I wish I could give this one zero stars. This printer completely froze for me after numerous problems: 1. From the start the print quality from this one is not at all as described. The prints are nowhere clear, not even in black and white. Color prints look like an old cheap inkjet printer from the early 90's.2. This printer does not feed paper correctly. Paper keeps jamming, multiple sheets of your printouts come out, resulting in your printouts being misaligned or overlapping multiple output…

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • Almost never

MY NEWEST EPSON PRODUCT OF ANY KIND!

The printer is about 18 months old (warranty expired) and has printed about 500 pages in total. I was just trying to print a color document on plain A4 single-sided paper. The printer died with a dreaded "0x97" error (according to the internet this is said to be a fatal hardware error/component error). I observed the same error with a plain black and white document. Searched for remedies on the internet. Nothing official found from Epson, only 3rd party "answer" sites (unfortunately assume…

Print quality is worse than previous generation WF-7010

I bought this WF-7620 to replace an almost 5 year old WF-7010 (no scanner, fax or display). The WF-7010 printed very well but would go to sleep or shut down and had to press the ON button and wait a minute to use it. It's a huge PITA when you're used to just sending a print job to the printer and then waking up and printing. In any case. Since this WF-7620 has newer printhead hardware, I expected the print quality to be even better than the WF-7010 it replaces, but that's not the case. It…

  • Quick replacement

Affordable, scans and prints 11x17, colored text and images are grainy

I bought this printer for a number of reasons: 1. It cost $2292 and could scan and print 11 x 173 pages . It had an automatic document feeder. Here is an overview of the performance: > Scanning - appears to be fine, both on the platen and in the ADF. I've scanned a variety of formats from 3 x 5 index cards to 11 x 17 pages and it works like a champ. The scanning software is stable (in other words, it doesn't crash) and has enough controls to be useful. > Black Text - Black text is output…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Not as good as it says it is

Worked fine while working (< 6 months)

I had to call Epson support today because my printer started reporting error 0x9d no matter where the document came from - computer, printer itself via the report status or tried to copy the ADF. Epson agreed to send me a new unit and told me to discard the old one. My original printer went into light service in April 2015. Okay, shit happens, but this is the SECOND replacement I've had since I originally ordered (via Revain) six months ago. In both cases, I had leftover documents that I…

Pros
  • Photo quality large format prints - borderless, up to 13" x 19"
Cons
  • Questionable senior purchase

We use this WF7620 in our home office. We bought this particular model because the larger format scanning platform seemed like a great idea. We switched to this Epson printer from an HP Officejet 8600 series and regret our decision. Epson print quality does NOT stay the same. Read all reviews that mention endless printhead cleaning. We have similar experiences. Wash printhead/nozzles. The main problem with graphics of any kind. In general, standard black TEXT prints fine, but any kind of…

Pros
  • Never run out of ink again - The printer supports Amazon Dash Replenishment which, once activated, tracks ink usage and reorders from Amazon when ink runs out running low.
Cons
  • Long delivery time
