Well-made Blazer Blazer

This blazer makes a great base for a suit! The fabric is comfortable, a bit heavy and has a very nice dark blue color. It is beautifully lined and the cut out at the waist is very flattering. I bought it with a navy blue straight skirt and it looks very professional when paired. However, this blazer can be used as a standalone jacket and looks great with grey, brown or printed bottoms. I always wear blazers a size up as I can't stand wearing anything tight over another shirt but this one was a…

Terrible landing. the best in suits and blazers

I have a very short torso and this jacket (size 8) fits my waist. I own several Calvin Klein blazers and tops and have never had such a terrible fit. The buttons can be connected on my 6 year old's chest but not mine. The button spacing on my chest is about 10 inches, which is absolutely ridiculous. The chest buttons only go a little behind the armpits and don't really allow this jacket to be buttoned up on the chest. I'm medium in everything, the only part of the jacket that was a normal…

Small size - size up

After wearing about a size 12 for the last ten years I trended towards a size 14 last year. Four months and now I'm officially a size 16 which is terrible. When I buy a size 14 (awful enough) I find it to be too tight around the chest. I'm a lawyer, so I have to go to court in lawsuits. My first rare court appearance during COVID proved that even a size 16 was a little tight on the chest in this Calvin Klein blazer. It's ok, I can still wear it for hours, but still. A word to the scholars will…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

There are big problems with this jacket. The first thing I noticed was that the sleeve lining wasn't sewn on properly. This will spoil the crease on the sleeve. While trying on different seashells in preparation for the interview, the first button fell off. After a few changes, the second button. This jacket sucks, even at $50. The label looks pretty legit to me, but I have my doubts. The lining is soft and silky and has an extra button. It might not be the worst buy if you know what you're…

I finally got the fake

I ordered a 16w Calvin Klein Plus Size Black Blazer. I've been reading reviews on Amazon about replacement/fake/fake products for years and to my knowledge this is the first time I've had a bait and switch situation. This blazer is definitely not Calvin Klein. I've had a few of these in slip and plus sizes and it's not the same fabric, lining (they're polka dots), not the same button (covered in fabric), etc. It doesn't have a branded collar tag on everything, and the care tag says Made in…

Too bad it came in miniature, but very nice.

I love Calvin Klein and found a Calvin Klein skirt in khaki. Together they form a very nice business/career suit. I'm short (5ft 3in) and the skirt was small but no blazer. The blazer fits as expected with the sleeves and the length is a bit longer than I would like as it is not small. just hangs on me, which isn't as flattering as being a little more fitted. A minor issue is the makeshift seam at the back of the blazer that holds the fly together. When I removed the makeshift seam, there were…

CK Petite and regular size are very different

I was surprised at how different sizes/measurements are for Calvin Klein petite and regular women's suits. At 5'4", I wear both dressy and regular depending on the style and brand. I sometimes find that petite jackets/skirts/pants are too short, but standard suits are almost always too long and require a fit ( which can be expensive) so I usually go petite when available.I recently tried on a standard size CK suit (a black two button blazer that looks exactly like this one and a matching skirt)

Well tailored conservatively tailored washable blazer

I bought this jacket here in 2015 and I still have it. In fact, I only tried it on yesterday and it still looks and fits great even though I've never taken it to the dry cleaner. What I do is button it up, then turn inside out, fold (there's a specific way to fold dry clean blazers you can find online) and put them in the large sweater/underwear compartment. bag and wash on gentle cycle with other dark, probably dry, clean clothes. For best results, use Woolite or something similar, but I've…
