    Great for photography too The

This system is primarily used by video users but I bought it to help with photos. With live view (ie remote live view) on many cameras, this device is perfect for helping your camera get into those tricky spots that usually make for the most interesting photos. The 1/4-20 threading on the legs allowed me to create "aligners" with 4 simple carriage bolts and wing nuts. This allows you to position the camera at a convenient upward angle and easily capture images close to the ground. Solid build…

    Comfortable hold in the stabilizers

I use a cam caddy for my DSLR to film skateboarding I used to have an opteka x crank and didn't like that it wasn't very stable and the shots always wobbly, it was cheap plastic and foam gets disgusting when your hands sweat Cam Caddy, on the contrary, is very durable, very stable (even more stable with the locking kit) and a great design with other features like extra shoes that you get can to attach lights, mics etc. d. About the same price as the x crank, this is by far the best choice. The…

Rugged, simple and perfect for run-and-gun videography

Cam Caddy is many things, but first we need to understand what it isn't. This is not a conventional stabilizer. Yes, it gives you another way to keep the camera more stable, and yes, if you're skateboarding or otherwise rolling/sliding, it's a great way to record video. However, it's not a stabilizer in the sense that all your recordings will be stable with it. You will not. And really, if you want to, there are about a thousand ways to do it beyond that. But you still have to understand it. I…

I used to have an opteka x grip and didn't like that it wasn't very stable and that frames always wobbled, it had cheap plastic and foam that got rough when hands sweat.
