There's nothing worse than a good cold barbecue. After buying my Weber Summit, this was the logical next purchase. Used it 5 times last summer and it worked great! Keeps food hot for more than 5 hours. Also, my regular fridge doesn't let meat smells through.

This Cambro is great. I bought this on the recommendation of a friend who also competes in grilling. When he said it was a game changer, he wasn't lying. I take comfort in knowing that all of my dishes will be hot when they are ready to be served. My only regret is that I want another one.

Does exactly as advertised - keeps food warm. Place the smoked brisket in 200 degree 12 lb foil to "hold" it and after 2 1/2 hours it was at 160 degrees. Looks very well insulated and very durable. The latches fit snugly against the door seal - it seems that it does not let air through. Holds enough food trays to hold or transport a large meal. Very satisfied.

This thing keeps food warm for hours, even without a heater. I had a brisket that stayed warm for over 6 hours even when opened and served. Be sure and order some pans for him as I've been trying for days to find disposables that would fit without success. I finally got the ones made for him and they work great.

We don't like how the door comes loose almost every time it's opened; It's a headache to line it up and snap the Cambro back on (while the heat is out). I have no idea if this is a design flaw, a defective unit, or on purpose, but I won't be buying it again. The product description doesn't mention this at all. I do not recommend this model, especially if you are in the hospitality industry.

I have used it for both cold and hot dishes and have not been disappointed. I put some ice packs in the bag the night before using it and then put chilled groceries in it and it stayed cool all day sitting outside in the shade. Also, just before I put hot food in, I put a pot of boiling hot water on the floor and the food cooked for a day. I love the fact that it's smaller than other camera mounts, making it easy for anyone to pick up and carry around.

I've noticed food service providers use this carrier to decide to give it a try. When preparing a festive dinner for 25-35 people, he is always in a hurry to prepare side dishes and fish at the last moment so that they are served hot and not overcooked. The product kept the food warm for quite a long time. However, the Cambro is quite heavy when empty, and when full it's impossible to go anywhere without food. Unfortunately, I ended up with a bit of a mess on my hands (and on the kitchen floor) while cooking quite a bit of food for a friend's Halloween party recently.
