Works fine as intended.

Works fine. I wish I didn't need it, but since the hose I needed had a reverse fitting and the regulator required a 1/4" male NPT thread, I needed it to connect the new hose. It serves a purpose.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Poor instructions

The propane selector valve on my RV worked great for me

I recently bought new hoses for the propane selector valve on my RV. There was a discrepancy between the threads on the valve and the new hoses. Two such devices did their job. I used yellow tape and no leaks.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

A very necessary item for "older " campers

So my camper isn't that old yet, 2013. Apparently most fuel hoses they sell now have a "reverse outer flange" and the older style is NPT. An attempt to find a hose longer than 12 inches with an NPT end was in vain. So with this part and "alto" I was able to buy myself a 48" tank hose! I have a 48" tank hose with an NPT end! Works great!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Band

I had to replace the braided hose on my tent.

I needed to replace a pigtail hose on my trailer tent with a standard NPT style regulator. Since most hoses on the Revain appear to be inverted flare, I went with this adapter. Now I could get a cheaper braid and be protected. Also in the future, if I need to replace a pigtail, it doesn't matter which one I get!

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • The list will be long.

This brass adapter made the change easier.

Replaced propane fittings on our 2003 Nash trailer. This particular trailer used a 1/4" NPT thread on the regulator. The outside diameter of the 1/4" male NPT thread is approximately .520. First I figured it was 1/2" since I didn't really understand NPT threads. The new propane pigtails we ordered were 1/4" inverted flares. This brass adapter made the change easy.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Almost never

If you have an old Marshall propane diverter valve.

If you have an older Marshall propane diverter valve on your van with 1/4" NPT fittings and decide to purchase new hoses, this is what you need. So unless you can find old stock or go to a shop that does custom hose, you'll need a pair of these, and most hardware stores don't stock them.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Previous Questionable Purchase

What's not to like? It works!

I had to install a new Camco 200,000 BTU propane hose to an existing two stage regulator, but the regulator has a 1/4 inch NPT inlet. Brass fittings (I should have known better than to waste time searching!) so I went back to Revain (PRIME!) and ordered it with free 2 day shipping. Ready. Furnished. Is working. No leaks. It's not cheap. ($7 for a tiny brass adapter) but it gets the job done. Easy. We recommend.

Pros
  • Ideal for small homes
Cons
  • Faulty

Exactly what I needed

Not available in hardware stores but essential for many campers. As with some other people, one of the propane hoses that came with my RV started to leak (Kestone Vantage 2012). This, combined with Mr. ? If two, you must order these when ordering replacement hoses. They have a spring loaded nylon insert on the other side (the side that connects to your regulator). If you look at your existing hardware, you should see a white nylon insert inside. This is a valve to prevent backflow.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

You have a one-way valve!

Just received and wanted to clarify one thing I didn't know in advance and which COULD be VERY important to other users. Nowhere on the manufacturer's website, here or on the packaging does it say: The fitting has a spring-loaded one-way valve! This valve operates in a reverse 1/4" female to 1/4" NPT male thread. Having never worked with many propane hoses, fittings, etc., I was amazed to see that the "1/4" female "reverse" threads are much smaller than the "1/4" male NPT threads. In short…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
