Purring porthole for poop!

PurrrrThe perfect door for kittens! The instructions are simple. I actually drilled holes around the edges of the circle layout and then used a handsaw to finish it off. After the sanding was finished, it stood up and was attached perfectly with glue applied to the back of each piece. It took about 45 minutes to complete, and the kittens immediately got to work.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Purr! We bought 2!

We bought one for our laundry room and loved it so much we bought it for our bedroom too. Pros: Really attractive compared to many others, took 15 minutes to install with a jigsaw and our doors are solid. Tree, cats walk straight without ducking. Cons: The cats were confused for a whole week. They couldn't believe they could just go in and out, in and out, as they pleased. Ha!

  • Great for me

Higher quality than I expected!

Would definitely recommend this over Kitty Pass. Very easy to install, comes with a template, but it's so easy you could honestly figure it out without it. No sharp edges, I saw it was a Kitty Pass claim. It is a very thick, durable wood. I love that you can choose where you want it on the door. We set it up like the photo so our cats don't have to bend down to use it, they just walk through. My older cat (15) and my chubby cat use it with no problem and it keeps the dog out of their place…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Looks nice. that's what matters 😻

I recommend placing the template 6 inches from the bottom of the door. If you want your cat to get through, just raise your paws over the edge and don't bend down to get in. I have an 11 lb cat. And 6 inches at the top was just the right height (the instructions say 2 or 3 inches). πŸ™€ The end pieces look like they could easily be painted, the inner rim is plastic. Duct tape tabs work well, but it's easy to mess things up a bit when trying to connect the pieces. my cat used it straight away and…

Mom can finally sleep through the night again!

Overall I love this cute cat door. I stick it in my son's door while he sleeps while itchy, wants to go in and out all night and I can't. It was a bit tricky to match the middle ring to the back ring. There were a few sticky petals on both parts of the adhesive layer, but after a few weeks of use, the front part fell off. (It's not clear how much my husky pup could have helped with the trial. She does, however, plead not guilty.) Absolutely - used some liquid nails on it - and although it's…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Of course it's cute. I would like better material.

Naturally beautiful. As for installation: Fits a standard American door (1 3/8 inch), there is no room for thickness adjustment. The hole for cutting is 7 1/4" in diameter, the template will help. However, for the price I was hoping for the best. materials and crafts. The sawn edges on the front and back (some form of wood/MDF) are surprisingly rough, meaning dirt collects and is difficult to wipe off. The paint is matte, more like a primer, waiting for dirt to build up. The connecting ring (a…

NO evidence of a large dog.

Cool door. Ideal for a kitten. Ease of installation. All of this resulted in a 5 star rating. However, if you want to keep your 65 pound dog out of the litter box (or in the bin, apparently), this is NOT the solution for you. We first had a metal baby gate with a cat door and our dog broke 2 of his fangs which later had to be removed when he tried (and climbed through that door) so we figured the smaller opening door would definitely keep him out. Just to clarify. The girth of my dog chest is…

  • Practical thing

Cool cat door - see instructions notes

I've been buying cat doors for way longer than I should have. Compare, contrast, etc. I didn't want a standard square flap door. In our last house I put them in and then the cats didn't like the doors so I took them off and then the doors just looked ugly with holes for hinges and locks. I ended up buying 3 doors because. I couldn't tell which one I would like based on the descriptions and reviews. So I ordered this door, Kitty Pass and Cathole. I lined them all up in one photo so you can see…
