Absolute rubbish judging from what they sent me.

I bought a 'brand new' direct from the Poke Egg manufacturer - and they sent me a dirty, used, broken piece of junk. Obvious discolouration from previous use, the battery connections are not working and are also corroded and the strap is dirty and has a hole where the threads come loose.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • unreliable

Wanted it to work

I have another egg from another company and I love it but it seems to break every few months so I wanted to try a new one. It was delivered yesterday and I tried to connect it. It wouldn't turn on even after five different battery changes. Needless to say I am returning it and will not buy again.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great battery, not so intuitive

Pros: - Great battery life - Good connection - Good range - All features are the same as the original - Works very well, turns all poke stops remotely and catch all pokemon from afar only with red pokeballs. Cons: - Every time you turn it on you have to turn off the sound and vibration. - Not very intuitive. It has 3 color code systems: blue for bluetooth, green for tone and purple for vibration. A little big to carry in your pocket.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Waste of time because they don't keep in touch.

Expensive and doesn't keep in touch. Tried 3 different iPhones and 2 different eggs. It would connect, catch a Pokemon, and then disconnect. I deleted both phones and eggs and reconnected with the same results. I connected my old Pokemon Go+ watch and it worked great on all three iPhones. This fixed issues with the iPhone and Pokémon Go apps. In the end I returned both eggs and received a full refund.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing

Great durable device for heavy use Alternative to Go Plus/Gotcha

I wasn't aware at first that this device used batteries. At first I thought it would hurt, but I'm really enjoying it. The device stays connected much longer than other Gotcha devices. Worked great for Kanto Community Day. It gets a bit noisy at times, but you can turn everything off. I think you have to disable it every time it starts, which is a bit annoying but still a great device.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Expensive

It's great when it works!

They're a little clunky and annoyingly loud. They will not be synced for a very long time. An hour max if you sync and forget it and try to do other things they shut down or run out of balls. Yes, you can turn off the vibration and beep when it's running in the background. but when it loses sync and you try to sync it again, it's annoyingly noisy. However, when it works, it works quite well without paying attention, I like it. I just wish it wasn't noisy. or that I can keep the Galaxy S9+ and…

  • Top marks for support and durability from testers

No connection at all

Upgrade: up to 1 star. I can't keep this thing connected anymore. watch the video I catch maybe about 30% of my meetings. I have more "Pokémon escaped" notifications than "You caught a Pokemon". Granted. I catch something while my phone is in my pocket. Also today I had abrupt disconnections. In less than 10 minutes my phone lost connection. The device and the phone have never parted ways. So it wasn't the distance. In my opinion, this product is not worth 60€. You'd better have your…

It does what it says on the tin

Pocket Egg was easy to set up with the included instructions. The device has only one button and one power switch, making it quite easy to use. If you press and hold the button while turning on the device, the device will boot in silent mode, with no noise or vibration accompanying the operation of the LED on the device. It's a handy shortcut, and I personally would probably use the device in most cases. Pairing the device with my Android phone went smoothly. Just follow the instructions that…

Best Single Device Auto Catcher/Trap

I have used and tested EVERY auto catcher on the market in search of the best and this is the best for single devices. I'll go through the ones I use and you can decide for yourself if it's the best for your personal needs. Pocket Egg / Megacom Pocket Catchmon - 4.75 stars (it's basically the same product, I'm pretty sure they use the same software from my gaming experience) PROS: - Battery life is amazing. I've been using it with 2 phones for a week now and it's still working great - the…
