Excellent replacement for remote control

I hesitated to buy this famous brand remote control. I'm glad I chose this remote over the $60 brand name remote. Once I received the remote control, it didn't take long to pair it with both of my ceiling fans. It's nice to have a remote control for both fans. For reference I have Kichler fans and this remote works great.

Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Great replacement for the best ceiling fans and accessories

Great replacement for a remote that got tangled in the sheets and washed, my problem. I recommend keeping your old remote - open the back and you can see what frequency it was tuned to so you can program this in seconds. Thanks for the little clip for hanging - now it fits where it's supposed to, so hopefully it won't be washed again :)

Pros
  • Best in the niche

Don't need to buy new fans

So glad I bought this replacement and I will be buying another for my other fan. I wanted to buy new fans because my remote controls didn't work and the new fans didn't like them. All I really needed were spare remotes. This new remote changed everything. Each new remote control must be programmed to the ventilator with a specific numerical code on the ventilator. Pretty oriental and inexpensive solution.

  • Confident
Cons
  • Not bad

Great remote control - remote controls

This is a great remote control for my ceiling fan and lamp combo. The place where the battery was in the old remote control was damaged. After reading some reviews I was concerned that everything would fit together as I'm not very good with wiring. However, one of the comments mentioned that the pins inside need to be properly aligned to match the old remote. I changed the position of the contacts, put in the batteries and everything worked!

Pros
  • are also understandable through the old

Got my fan back!: Remote Controls

I had to adjust the jumpers to get my remote to communicate with the ceiling fan. But for me all the switches just had to be in the correct side position for the remote to work. The board works as it should. It is thinner and lighter than the original remote control. I like it better than the original remote. The remote also came with a small clip that screws onto the wall so you can hang the remote on the wall. But I can't imagine using it.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Remote Control That Works With A 15 Year Old Harbor Breeze Fan

This remote control was purchased to replace a 15 year old Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. The fan has the function of light and night light, both of which can be adjusted via the remote control. This new remote control was delivered the next day. We put in a new battery, set the 4 code switches inside to the same settings as the old remote and everything worked great! After so many years of frustration with a remote that just didn't work properly, I wish I had replaced it sooner! The fan is running

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

excellent replacement for remote control

excellent replacement for remote control. It was a bit scary because the description warned very clearly that you have to make sure the pins are oriented exactly as they were on the old remote or it won't work. We had to buy one because our old remote was gone (thanks to the 1 year old that was wandering around our house. We're guessing it got washed away or thrown away. Um). Not having the old remote we figured we'd never get the chance to get the configuration right, but this time luck was on

Easy to set up and works well

This type of remote control works great with Hampton Bay ceiling fans. Just make sure the "dip switches" in the battery box are set to match the settings on the old remote control or receiver box in the fan. You don't need to "press" the buttons for the remote to work. In addition, you can be a fairly decent distance from the fan and it will send a strong signal to it. The remote control is solid (we dropped it on the floor a few times and it still worked). The only reason we ordered another is

This solved my problem

I have a Star Sea Breeze fan in my "men's room". She quit her job two years ago (yes, I said 2 years. I hesitated). Well, finally I was fed up with turning on the air conditioner and getting an electric bill as a result, so I did a little research. I found I could buy one for $50 or send it in for repair for $25. I'm a Revain Prime fan and love everything about Prime so Revain is the first place I think of when I need something. Look, they've got my drum roll remote. $26 with shipping! 3 days…

Pros
  • Finally bought it
