Description of 🔥 Chandler Tool Heat Gun for Embossing

▶ Variable Speed / Heat Settings: The only one of its kind, our heat gun combines a low speed/heat setting for delicate or detail work, with a high speed/heat setting for heavy-duty or high-volume work, all in a compact easy to handle package. It’s like having a mini-heat gun and a full-size heavy-duty heat gun all in one!. ▶ Versatile: Perfect for crafts, automotive, electronics, embossing powders, vinyl wrap, HTV, epoxy resin, shrink wrapping, shrink tubing, shrink tube connectors, decals, wine bottle shrink capsules, EVA foam, transfers, acrylic, shrink film, cell phone repair, tablet repair, screen repair, soldering, jewelry making, wire connectors, butt connectors, wax, beeswax, soy, candle making, and more!. ▶ Insulated - Ergonomic - Light Weight - Quiet: cheap mini heat guns get too hot to hold. Traditional large “gun-style” heat guns get too heavy and awkward to handle for extended periods. Chandler Tool saves the day with the perfect balance of compact size, light weight & low-noise to minimize fatigue on even the longest jobs. ▶ UL-Certified - Be careful! Poor-quality heat guns are both a fire hazard & an electrical shock hazard! Most generic heat guns are not manufactured to North American safety standards & are not safety certified. Underwriters Laboratories “UL” is the industry standard for North American safety certification. UL Certification ain’t cheap, but we’re proud to say we won’t sell a heat gun without it. ▶ Proud Global Company - Launched in a small LA loft, we now have team members and factories spanning the globe. We believe our tools should serve a form and function. If for any reason you're dissatisfied, contact our customer care team; We'll happily make things right!.

Good product! for heat guns

I bought a cheaper gun and as they say "you get what you pay for". I've decided to invest in the best product and I have to say it's day and night. This weapon is light but strong and not cheap. Highly recommended for needlewomen and artists.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Empty

Great buy for heat gun

I've just started using this heat gun and I have to say I was very surprised at how my candle turned out. I usually use a blow dryer which causes my candle to melt too quickly and leave a messy finish, but with this heat gun it took a few seconds and I got the smooth finish I was looking for. A purchase I am happy with.

Worth the extra $$$

I've only used it about 20 times, but you can tell it's a well-made tool just by holding it in your hands. I used my 1500w heat gun to shrink and blow holes in the shrink wrap no matter how careful I was. With this low level device it works great and NO HOLES. I'm very glad I didn't buy a cheaper heat gun, spent a little more and got this one.

Contains Lead - Cancer Warning!

Returned. The item contains lead and has a major cancer warning. Do you plan to get rid of cancer or have children? Like most people, my answer is yes. I think my health is more important than my craft. This information must be included in the list. It may be an American company, but their products are made in Taiwan. I cannot recommend this product.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly torn

False negative. It's just great

For those who read 1 star reviews first; Honestly, this thing is just beautiful. I had no problems. Many leave bad reviews due to the fact that the protective plastic cap melts during use. This lid needs to be removed before use, but a tiny screw and literally no instructions lead most people to assume the lid should be there. Remove the screw and the lid will unscrew/open.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Upgrades

Hot Air Embossing Gun

I've never owned a hot air embossing gun. I chose this product based on the reviews and the size I thought was comfortable. It came quickly and I had no trouble building my first project. Can't wait for the postcard fun to continue. Works well, embossing powder does not scatter. The powder melts fairly quickly and won't burn fingers or cardboard. I am happy with my purchase so far.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Reliable

Should have been sooner

I use this for candle making. I used a hair dryer to clean it, but you can't use it to flatten the top and bottom of the candles. This low heat consumption makes it child's play. It is easy to use and the two heat settings are easy to regulate. It helps blend the "topping" wax to make everything seamless and quickly cleans up any drips of spilled wax. A great tool that every candle maker should have.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Works like a dream!

I ordered and received my hair dryer very quickly. The personal response gave me confidence in the seller. I used it straight away to use the drying paint on the Kindness stones I made. It was delicious! I particularly like the double speed. Low is hot enough to dry the paint, but the air speed doesn't ripple the paint when I apply it thickly. This tool allowed me to complete stone groups in a day instead of having to pause to let paint and varnish dry. I highly recommend this tool to everyone.

Pros
  • Welding and soldering
Cons
  • Socket required

Most reviews use it wrong

So I was hesitant to buy it because of all the negative reviews. but I've found that people with negative reviews use it incorrectly. However, to be fair, ANYWHERE in the instructions does not say how to properly use this embosser. Therefore, DO NOT leave protective plastic wrap on it when using, OTHERWISE IT MAY MELT. There is a screw (yes, with a sticker) on the transparent cover that needs to be unscrewed, and unscrew the transparent plastic cover BEFORE using. Leaving it on creates a fire…

Pros
  • Soldering and Soldering Equipment
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

ARE YOU CRAZY?!? - Heat Guns

I have read other reviews on this product and for the most part they are very positive. The heat gun heats up very quickly. It's easy to use and gets the job done quickly. I love the stand it comes with and I ESPECIALLY LOVE the PLASTIC PIECE that comes with it. It (the plastic warning piece) doesn't get hot, melt or interfere with my projects. It is NOT meant to be removed for any reason. The piece of metal protecting it is probably hotter than burnt boots, but I'm glad I didn't have to find…

Pros
  • Heat Guns
Cons
  • Doubt
