Great bike for toddlers

My 2 year old rides this bike every day. We've had it since July and it's still in excellent condition. The best purchase I've made for him so far!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Broken

Best ride quality on tricycles, scooters and vans

My 2 year old grandson loves it. It's light enough that he can pick it up and take it with him when he needs it. There are no sharp edges where it could hurt itself and it fits perfectly 👍🏻👍🏻

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

Non-Stick Plastic Wheels

Looks strong and very nice but the wheels are hard plastic and don't provide traction. Our little one's wheel slipped out very easily and he fell.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Not Bad

Great balance bike: Balance wheels

My 2 year old takes his bike everywhere. He walks most of the time but is gradually learning to sit. The structure is very simple, the tires are made of airless solid rubber material. Sturdy, well made and easy to set up!

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Our 2 year old grandson loves it

This bike was on our grandson's "wish list" so we bought it and shipped it to him out of the state. His parents sent us videos and photos of our precious little grandson enjoying his gift.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Cons

Don't buy cheap screws and can't adjust the seat

Don't waste your money. We thought the first one was a bug so we went back to get a replacement and encountered the same issue. The bike itself is beautiful, but the bolts come loose before you can even adjust the seat. I sent both back.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • No performance

Best suited for children under 2 years old

I would not recommend it for a child over 2 years old. And I don't think it's worth $55. The seat is very small and not adjustable for an average 3 year old. The steering wheel covers are not smooth, and children's hands hurt after a long drive.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Functionality

It's much better in tricycles, scooters and station wagons

To be honest it feels a bit cheap, plastic wheels, assemble it (I'm an engineer) and it still has play a bit. Worst of all, there is no quick-release lever to adjust the seatpost. I know it's a balance bike, but it would be nice to have a place for the kid to eat when not pushing.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives

nut is missing. at Balance Bikes

partial refund required. I have received the returned item. I know why it was probably returned. The nut was missing. Now we have to improvise to keep everything together. I will update the rating as soon as I get an answer. Update for now: There are stains on the seat in the photo. I'll try to remove it, but who wants to wash stains off a so-called new thing? Photo shows other minor damage.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • fits

Great bike for beginners!

I love cycling. My son is slowly learning to balance. Great solid construction, but the hardware used on the bike is a little "soft". I went to adjust the height of the seat and used an allen wrench to make the screw head loosen slightly. So you have to drill it out and replace it with something else. Otherwise nice bike!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Don't waste your time!

Don't even waste your time with this bike or choose it because of its lower price. Save yourself the hassle and just choose other options. Had to order a replacement for the first one I ordered because the seat adjuster screw broke trying to loosen it. Had the same problem with the replacement; broke after only two turns and didn't even budge! I opted for the more expensive version and the assembly was a breeze. This bike is cheap in every way.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
