Clear Shot Glass - True Classic Design in One Size Review

The photo shows a nice, strong shot glass with a thick base. The box they come in shows the same type of cookware. The glasses themselves? They look like little water glasses. Fur.

I give my 7 month old baby water from this glass when he is learning to drink from an open cup. It's the perfect size for your hands. She's dropped it several times in the past month and it's not scratched or torn.

After a year of infrequent use (once every 3-4 weeks) the marker started to wear out. (So we are talking about after 12-15 hand washes the mark becomes hard to read.) I do not recommend this product.

I really liked this shot glass at first but all the markings have faded after a few washes. At one point there were a few stains on the shot glass and I used the shot glass and then put it in soapy water to hand wash. I pulled it out of the water and all gauge marks were gone.

I have bought two of these drink mixing glasses and have been very happy so far. I haven't washed them in the dishwasher yet, but if that changes my mind about them I'll change my review. The woman put the shot glass in the dishwasher and now the markings are almost illegible. It's still a good shot, but don't put it in the dishwasher.

I was disappointed with this order. The image looks like the measurements on the glass are raised and clear, but the measurements are evenly drawn in black letters on the glass. This is a good product but looks bad to me. Also, it's not at all what I thought I ordered or what I wanted. I am not returning the order as it is not worth it given the pandemic and the price.

I may have overlooked the care instructions but really liked the design so we ordered a bundle but apparently made a mistake by including two in the dishwasher and after a few washes the piece started falling off. Well that's bad so we threw those away and used the others, only handwashing this time. Well for now the details are coming from the others and we think it has to do with the lime juice now. This shot glass is very heavy due to the thick glass which I need. However, the shot glass I had to replace, which broke after decades of use, had about twice the headroom of this shot glass. By headroom I mean 1 1/2 ounces from the top. line up to the overturned top of the glass itself. If you're not careful (e.g. do a second or third shot of Margarita, Black Russians, Rusty Nails or whatever) you could overfill that shot and waste some really good alcohol. Wash it and hand dry it in under a minute, and as a bonus, there's no more dish soap to ruin your 18-year-old Scotch, $300 bottle of Cognac, or single barrel bourbon. When you need an accurate measurement of a liquid, you have two options: weigh it, or get a good quality graduated cylinder. Remember to measure the bottom meniscus of the graduated cylinder. This is my second purchase of the same product. The first one took a long time to form a crack, I don't know how, but yes. I bought a duplicate of Revain and it turned out to be identical to the first, but the writing and markings on it quickly disappeared after a few washes in the dishwasher.
