Satisfactory performance

I have viewed 8,000 to 10,000 slides with this device and am happy with the results. One suggestion I would like to make is that people who buy this device also buy a fast slide feeder that will make your conversion project much easier and faster.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Try the scanners and accessories now

It would be great if every scan didn't have a smudge that can't be removed. If you buy, try it right away to make sure you don't get this error. The photos I have attached had some bad slides (no flash was used) but they show a problem with the product I received.

Works great with scanners and accessories

This device is very easy to use. I converted some very old 35mm negatives into very clear and useful images from computer files. It's fast and accurate. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to convert various film formats into computer file images. It has other size formats and is therefore very versatile.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

GREAT for the price

If you research all of these you will find that they all work the same way. I bought this model because of the large screen. That works great! Photo of my father in Korea in 1950. I made all sorts of his old slides and negatives. I'm so glad I didn't pay a fortune to have it done professionally as the result couldn't have been better.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Clear Click Virtuoso 2.0 slide scanner

I bought this because of all the great reviews. Unfortunately I didn't think it was that great. First, it takes a natural disaster to make slide scanning possible. Now if I play with it long enough I can get it working. I hope I can make it until I'm done with all the slides. Second, the quality of the scans isn't that hot. It's very frustrating when the slides themselves are button sharp, the image of the slide in the overview window is button sharp and the scan is abysmal. I wouldn't buy this

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I don't really like anything everything is fine

Best money I've ever spent!

Years ago I saved up and bought a really good camera and lenses. I have taken many wonderful photos with him over the years. But I've never had a digital version of it, and scanning a 4x6 photo doesn't produce a digital image that enlarges very well. However, the resolution was there โ€“ hidden on the negatives, unattainable. I bought this device with the hope and prayer that I can be reunited with my old photos. Success! Wow: digitized images can be enlarged to huge sizes and using the deviceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Something different

The digital photos from the negatives exceeded my expectations.

It is very easy to use. The manual is short with clear instructions. I think the manufacturer deserves credit for the ease of use and the quality of the results. I didn't give 5 stars because I had issues with the negative holders that are supposed to allow me to load the negatives. Anyway I found a way around this and have now transferred many of the negatives to digital photos. I am very happy with ClearClick. I have previously purchased and returned a more expensive machine which was bulkyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible price

Simply EXCELLENT

I received the ClearClick Virtuoso 2.0 scanner two hours ago and was able to scan 35mm slides in minutes. The slides are over 50 years old, but the resulting scans are bright, colorful and crisp. The scanner is intuitive to use, with clear on-screen icons and well-labeled buttons on the scanner. The instruction manual is written in correct English, not in a foreign language. After I scanned the slides, I connected the USB cable to my computer, selected the USB image on the scanner screen, andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Doubtful

Good results, but you need a computer to create great photos

This slide scanner (it actually takes a 'picture' of your slide) is quick and easy to use. It takes me about 5 minutes to scan 35 slides. I don't even try to correct the colors and exposure on the machine, instead I remove the SD card and edit and name the slides from my computer. (It takes another 20 minutes!) If the slide has too large an exposure range (from very bright white to very dark), the scanner can't handle that either, but imaging software will do just fine. Smoother exposure slides

Pros
  • One-year trial version
Cons
  • Available in white only
