Makes itching

I was looking for a replacement engine gasket in the hood vent but maybe I bought the wrong item. However, this product causes itching all over the body and leaves a lot of residue when cut. There were no instructions for use in the bag.

Excellent Heat Protection Product

We use this product to protect electronic components that are exposed to high temperatures in turbocharged vehicles. We manufacture a special product for our customers that protects the motor electronics from temperatures that can easily reach 700Β°F and above, and the ceramic coating is ideal for our application, being thick, flexible and easily conforming to complex shapes.

Ideal for DIY forges

Perfect. I have two shifts in an old propane tank. Each layer is covered with refractory cement. I can easily generate enough heat for the smithing with a homemade venturi burner. I've had success with. Mokume and a little forge welding. Haven't tried Damascus yet. But def does its job. Make sure you cover it with something. The fibers that heat up and float around can be uncomfortable if you breathe them in.

excellent chimney heater

I installed a wood-burning stove in my wife's "barn". She said it would be much better if she had a heater in it. I had to find a way to safely run a 4" pipe through the wall. A 6-inch Schedule 40 oilfield tubing was run through the wall and secured with clamps. A 4 inch stovepipe was inserted into the tube, which was wrapped with ceramic insulation. When fully loaded with wood, the stovepipe reads 450-600 degrees Fahrenheit and the 6-inch chimney is the outside temperature. Wonderful! So now…

Amazing for additional unintended uses!

My review will misrepresent this product in relation to its intended use BUT. I bought it because all the furniture was pulled out of my kitchen which makes my house look crappy. Floor and wall didn't match. The gap was anywhere from almost an inch to almost three inches. My house is elevated and the gap is practically open to the outside. I live in Arizona and need to start my air conditioner in April. Well, with huge gaps leading outside, I would lose all my cold air and the air conditioning…

This is the real, high quality, proprietary ceramic insulation.

This is a real bargain, high quality branded ceramic insulation 1" thick. Just the right thing when it comes to really hot things! CM Ceramics is an established industrial materials supplier with extensive experience. high quality material and service report. Other offers appear "cheaper" because they are! You will find that these are either regular imported fakes or 1/2 inch thick materials. 1/2 inch thick is 1/2 material, so of course you'll find it for half the price. While counterfeit…

Amazing product

A small portion of the outer shell of the tee on my high temp stainless steel chimney came loose, the insulation cracked and spilled. When I realized that NFPA regulations required me to replace the entire chimney because the manufacturer had gone out of business and I couldn't just replace the "tee" with another brand, I figured I'd at least try to replace the insulation and repair the loosened outer portion of the tee. After the repair I tested the part with an increasingly hot 3 day fire…

Ceramic ceiling as advertised. It does the job!

The ceramic cover fitted me very well. The material holds together quite well and is easy to cut with the included knife. I've used an N95 respirator and gloves when working with the material and don't expect any problems as the material holds up well (much better than, for example, the fiberglass insulation and even better than the Roxul sound insulation I use). My particular problem was that I had a huge noise problem around my vent pipe for my oven. Although the codes indicate nothing can…
