Great tool. Absolutely surprised how well they work

No worse than the brand. I have cut mild steel and tool steel with excellent finish and long tool life. For the price you can't beat them. You couldn't help but buy three branded inserts for the price of thirty of them.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No work

Don't let the price fool you!

I've spent thousands on different inserts and if they're not designed for a specific purpose, there's almost no difference. These inserts work great and leave a great finish. Do a good job absorbing stuff when you need it. Keep your target pass at 0.010-0.020 DOC and you will be very happy. I know that I am

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

great quality for beginners/hobbyists

These are great for stainless steel, tool steel, 4140 and a few other things I've tried. I also use insert holders from the same manufacturer and they are very beneficial. From what I've heard the blades don't last as long as some of the industrial inserts, but thanks to their reasonable price I'm not worried about them breaking if I make silly beginner mistakes.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Legacy
