Warm, snug, I don't like corner pockets

Very warm insulation. Had one before. They made it slimmer on the body to make it difficult to wear with a sweater. I don't like corner pockets. Better with square straight.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Not bulky and wind-/waterproof

As with the colour, you should take a size up, love it relatively light, water- and windproof. I wish the next model had deeper pockets in the future. I also liked the small pockets inside.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Disturbing

Nice coat but needed a size up.

Fits well, warm and stylish. BUT I took the large size because I've noticed that ALL the jackets I've tried on recently from various major brands are much smaller and more fitted than they were 10 years ago. My old Columbia coat was medium in size and still fits me.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Beautiful winter jacket

I love this jacket. Fits good . I was worried it wouldn't stand up to the sub-zero temperatures of northern Wisconsin winters, but it keeps me incredibly warm. I took the seam ripper and removed the belt and I like the way it looks. You don't even notice what it was before and I don't have to fiddle with the zipper and belt. Very tight and feminine.

  • Great price
Cons

Waterproof. But really!

Runs true to size, the belt accentuates my waist and the sleeves are long enough for my incredibly long arms (I'm 5'8" with a 6' wingspan). I live in Portland, Oregon where you can drown walking to your car. I ran this jacket under the kitchen sink for a few minutes to see if it held up to our weather and to my complete surprise IT WAS DRY! I've been looking for a jacket like this for months.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Wrinkled Pack

I do not regret this purchase!

I love this jacket. It's a bit long but I'm short torso and I'm sure I wouldn't mind it covering my butt when it's freezing outside. Not bulky at all. Haven't worn it in the cold yet to test how warm it is, but it's waterproof (I live in Washington state). Slim fit and multiple pockets. The hood is NOT removable, the fur part is removed. I'm 5ft 3in, about 140lbs, I've got honey and enough room to stack up a bit.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Almost never

You will love this coat

Bought for a hike in PNW. I hiked 8 hours in the mountains, with temperatures between 10 and 25 degrees, and thanks to the thermal lining I was warm. I usually go small to medium, but got these in a very small size and I had room for layers. I also used it in windy cities of the 40's and 50's. This is a great all round autumn/winter coat. I like dusty purple. Lots of pockets make it practical.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Spotted

Best Jacket For Women

This jacket is so well made that it is not only flattering but also functional. The jacket is long enough to cover the bottom but not too much. It's very warm without being bulky. The hood sits perfectly without being in the way and stays in place thanks to perfectly placed buttons. And I said there are enough pockets for almost anything you want to take with you! I would buy this jacket again in a heartbeat.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Approximately

This is a GREAT coat

I already have a Carson Pass II in black and love it. Can't say for sure how warm it is as I wore it in late winter and early spring when we were in the 30-40 range. It kept me warm and looked good! I like the color of my new Carson, Pulse, Crimson Gray. However, I only give it four stars because it fits better than my black one. I'm 5ft 4in, 155, 34D and ordered large as I have very broad shoulders. My black one is a bit large, but the Pulse Large is large enough that I might have ordered a…
