good case. The long-term stiffness of the grip and traction foam can be an issue, but for now it's solid.

It's used to hold the Zoom L12 and there's room for that. 2.5 inch space. 3 rows of grip and traction foam and foam that goes around the edges), but I may have a bad batch of foam. Regardless, the mixer doesn't budge once it's in because the whipped cream on top keeps everything in place. Excellent quality. Exactly as described! Don't need an expensive pelican.

Over the years in the military I have had to use a variety of Pelican cases. Although I never had to pay for it, I was aware of its high price. Comparing this Condition 1 to the Pelican brand, I have to admit I'm very impressed. For this particular model, it includes three layers of adjustable foam. Each layer is approximately 1.5 inches thick. Each layer is made up of small detachable squares (measuring 0.5" x 0.5" x 1.5"). In addition to the three adjustable layers of handset, there is aโ€ฆ

The foam around the edges isn't that good at the top of the hinges (we left about 2.5 in. 3 rows of grip and pull foam and foam that goes around the edges), but I may have a bad batch of foam. It pretty much met all my expectations but I will add.

This pretty much met my expectations, but I would like to add that the foam is not as stiff as I was hoping. I bought this case to safely transport my drum machine and accessories. I was very careful in planning where things would go. For example, while one "hole" goes through all three layers of foam, another may only be one layer deep. It has allowed me to find something that is stored exclusively in the bottom layer (the middle layer of pnp foam that is just above it is intact, and thenโ€ฆ
