These adapters saved the day. I couldn't find any clip-on lampshades that would fit my flashlights. Thought I'd give them a try and get a range of shades for the final style. I figured these adapters were big and bulky and I'd have to send them back. The boy was surprised. They worked better than expected and look great on lamps.

Finally! I have a very old lamp that needs this doo dad clip but I couldn't find a lampshade with this attached. I was on my last attempt to find it when I stumbled across these adapters and it made me very happy. I bought the right size lampshade and now this lamp, humbled with garage shelves, proudly illuminates my computer room.

This simple lampshade holder makes changing lampshades easy. The holder is placed on top of the bulb and the lampshade is attached at the top, as with other types of holders. Probably works best with small shadows. Also, it's probably best to use LED bulbs. LED lamps do not break easily and are cool to the touch. I would not use this with a conventional incandescent bulb.

I recently purchased some custom made Mid Century Modern shades for my tripod lamps. When, to my horror, the lampshades didn't fit the lamp. Grrrrrr! Revan to the rescue! I bought these because there were two for the price and the quality was the same as other color adapters that are more expensive and you only get one. Delivery was very quick (next day for Prime) and the adapters were easy to install. I'm a lucky tourist!

They worked much better than I expected. We were able to rebuild the Urbanest Softback Bell lampshade (also from Revain) so that I could install the lamp without the halo. Whenever such smart products come onto the market, I ask myself why nobody had come up with this idea before. It only took about a minute per lampshade to add. If they came in silver I would buy a few more packs. But the brass looks nice and the tips screw securely into the lampshade.

A friend gave me a floor lamp with a sconce, but I wanted to put a lampshade on it instead - the shape of the recess where the sconce was didn't allow for a harp/spider to shade top. I was so happy to find them! I didn't even know they did things like that. I had a lampshade I just bought for my living room and an old floor lamp that I wanted to spray paint and give it a new look. The problem was that the lamp required a screw in the bulb and the lampshade had to be fixed with a knob. There was no way to attach an extra arm so I turned to Revane and lo and behold! I really liked these. They held my lampshades perfectly to the bulb, which I needed as the traditional harp made the lampshades too tall for the lamp base. It worked great except the top was so long that the knob wasn't tightened enough to hold the lampshade firmly in place. Don't worry my lamp has a switch on the base so it doesn't affect performance too much. I'll try installing a washer to see if it works to make it tighter, but I'm deducting a star for that lack. These snap on lampshade holders are great for any lamp that you can't find the right size harp for. After 4 trips to local shops (I always try to buy local) I turned to Revain looking for the right 4-6 inch harp. them to try. They match my shades perfectly and the metal on the clip is strong enough to prevent the lampshade from tipping to one side.
