The thread doesn't fit my hammer

Why make a thread that only fits a hammer. I do not understand that. They would sell more if it was for everyone. send mine back

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • I won't say anything

This puller is thick!

Thickness puller Too thick to fit between the constant velocity joint and the New Beetle gearbox. So I couldn't use it. But it screwed well onto my OTC hammer and seemed well made. But if you have a small gap between CV and transmission, this part will not suit you.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Secret

On my Volvo an axle was stuck and nothing.

My Volvo had an axle stuck and nothing could free it. I bought this tool and it finally removed the damn axle. This axle was so rusty in the gear teeth that I seriously wondered if it would ever come out. I considered leaving the bowl there and just swapping out the innards and boot. This tool really saved the day!

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Doubtful

Great for RAV4 CV axle removal

After having trouble removing the passenger side CV axle on a 2001 RAV4, I ordered this puller with a 5 pound rotary hammer. It took about fifty vigorous jerks and the axle finally came out. Having used this for a job I can't think of any other way to get the job done. The tool is of very high quality, there are no signs of deformation. It fits perfectly behind the axle. No more pickle forks.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • So so
