Flat Glass Baubles, 5 lb

I bought them to use on the bottom of the aquarium. This is a 5.5 gallon tank and 5 pounds of flat beads will end up forming a 1.5 inch thick layer. Of all I found only one damaged flat ball. It wasn't broken, but it had a sharp edge that hurt my water family, so I threw it in the trash in a used paper towel. I will definitely buy it again.

Half were much larger than described.

I bought them for wine bottles. I was careful to purchase a set that was described as the diameter of a wine bottle neck (0.75 inch). They are listed as 0.6-0.7 inches but the 2.4lbs out of the 5lbs in the package I received was too big to fit in the bottles. I measured the shortest diameter on some of the ones that didn't fit and they were between 0.75"-0.85" much larger than they should be and unusable for my intended purpose.

What is this brand?

I ordered 5 pounds of clear paint. Each bag contained broken beads. The bags also have a label that looks like it was printed out from a home computer. Since glass can contain heavy metals you want at least a brand name and the label on it makes me question the brand and safety of their products. Also, I found an identical product, with branded sticker, no broken parts, for less money, somewhere else (can't say where) - so make up your own mind, but for my money it's not a good price.

OMG, the CYS EXCEL Blue Gemstone Glass Beads are gorgeous!

I'm so happy with these little "half circles". I bought these for my granddaughter's zen garden and her aquarium. The color is so pure and blue (the picture in the advert is exactly the same as the color). You are perfect! None were broken either. And they're non-toxic (lead-free), so it's safe for you to handle fish. Yes, all these types of glass beads are so expensive, but I wanted safe ones for them, and they fit perfectly in every way. Disappointing

I bought Aqua and Cobalt. I had to spend them twice with soap before I could use them. I was hoping this cleared things up a bit, but you can get better quality beads at the dollar store for a fraction of the price. I couldn't believe how scratched and gutted they were. I figured because they cost more (and because the description said so) I would get cleaner and better stones, but unfortunately it was the other way around. Transparent Not quite transparent, shipped in already opened packaging

The photos speak for themselves. I opened the shipping envelope and found the beads squirting out. I didn't care. When I took them out of my pocket, I found that they had sent me an already opened package. That's not normal. The inner plastic bag has already been opened.
