Died after 4 months, even with new batteries

Bought in late June and stopped working in October. Very disappointing, we tried new batteries and nothing got him talking again. My son keeps squeezing his hand, should have listened to other reviewers saying the same thing.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

The sound went silent after only 5 months

The thing is so cute but after only 5 months of use the sound went out on the arm so it no longer works and that's one One of the things that makes the toy so cool is Tiger Daniel's talk. Too bad it broke after 5 months.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from the testers
Cons
  • not reliable

GRANDSON LOVES IT! Until he stopped talking after 2 months.

MY 16 MONTH OLD GRANDSON AND I WATCH DANIEL TIGER TOGETHER AS ME AND HIS FATHER MR. Rogers as he grew. HE LIGHTS UP WHEN HE SEES HIS BAG DANIEL TIGER AND GETS A HUGE SMILE WHEN HE HEARD HIM TALK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS toy. TO UPDATE. Unfortunately, after 2 months he stopped speaking. Terribly disappointing.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Updates available

Broken twice on stuffed animals and plush toys

My 2 year old daughter loves it especially when it works. We sent the first one back within the first 30 days because the voice and songs had stopped. We got a replacement and a few months later the same thing happened. I'll try to use a soldering iron as I found the connections were broken when I opened Daniel up to investigate. If it works, my daughter will be delighted. If not, at least we have a stuffed animal for her to cuddle with.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Broke after 2 weeks of play.

We were delighted to receive this for my 3 year old's birthday earlier this month. A few days ago the sound suddenly stopped working. I've changed the batteries and tested the new batteries I put in, but the problem isn't with the batteries. I went to the Revain to see if I could exchange it but my only option was to return it and that was the last day of the return window. My son has a broken heart. It was his favorite present. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Not the quality I expected

This teddy bear looks a bit strange, it's not very soft and cuddly. The quality is not as good as other similar plush toys and the voice has a strange echo. I would have sent it back but it was bought as a gift so I didn't look closely until recently when I was wrapping it up and missed the return window. I've decided to buy a new gift, but I'll probably give this one as a gift. Definitely a disappointment and definitely not worth the new higher price tag!

BREAKS! Definitely not 4.5 stars

It's such a sweet Daniel Tiger WHEN he's working. This one might work if you unpack it. But as many other reviewers have said, it just happened to stop working despite changing the battery. Something I have not seen from sellers at this address. I would suggest spending less money and buying the regular (cheaper) and non-talking version if you want a stuffed animal, or go to PBS and buy there. If you buy this you will have a disappointed child. :(

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • A few little things

Good at first, then it just stopped working.

This Daniel Tiger plush toy was great at first, but now it won't talk at all! For this reason I am very disappointed with this topic. My son just saw it again after the toy had been missing for months. We never wet it or anything. I have tried all batteries. I also bought him a wagon and Daniel figures. The trolley is great but my son pointed out that MISS Elaina's button doesn't work 😔🤨. I wouldn't normally complain, but these aren't cheap toys!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are problems

Voice control died instantly

Super cute but I noticed the voice sounded a bit low when we pressed the paw. I then, as usual, opened the back to see if there was a volume switch (and apparently there's an off, on, and demo switch), but for some reason as soon as I opened the back, the voice stopped completely at the touch of a button to work paw button. I tried all 3 switches, only it seems it broke or died right away, literally 5 seconds out of the box. I think we can try a new battery, but it shouldn't need a new one…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • High price

Two of them died within a week of purchase.

He's cute, a great size for a couple with little plush Tigey and when he's working he sings an Angry Countdown song with a few short phrases. My son loved it for the few days it worked. The sound unit is connected to the button on the left wrist by a pair of wires, and the connection between the wire and this button is so unreliable that even with careful use it breaks. . Our second didn't even last two days and we watched him the entire time he had him. If all you want is a plush, do yourself…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Does not fit all
