Top Active Socks

After walking 200 miles on the Camino de Santiago in Spain and only wearing these Darn Tough Merino wool socks I give them 5 stars. These socks were comfortable, durable, washed and dried well and my feet were very happy. I bought 2 pairs for the Camino trip and they still look like new. worth your money.

Very tight fit on Active

These socks are clearly well made and of good quality. But I wish I had ordered L. I usually wear a 9 so M fits but is quite tight. I prefer a looser fit. The L might be a bit big but I will be more comfortable on my feet. It doesn't really affect the quality of the sock, I just prefer socks that aren't as tight around my toes and feet. I washed them inside out in cold water and line dried them so I don't think they shrunk, but I don't know for sure. Just note that the fit is very tight. Go up…

BUY THE DAMN SOCKS!

Never in my life would I have thought that I would spend so much money on a pair of socks. However, after putting them on I realized quite well that they are actually much softer than any other socks I have ever worn. The best part is that you add a cushion to your shoes. In my case, I wore them with my Merrell men's Moab hiking shoes. I really couldn't believe that my feet not only stay soft but stay cool and dry. Having never worn merino wool before, I honestly expected my feet to get hot and

I didn't think I would be so impressed!

I bought these socks for a hike in the Grand Canyon that I am planning to do in April 2020. I only took her on a temporary trip. The hike was an easy three mile hike, but it's November in Minnesota so I was curious how they would fare in cooler weather. My hike next April will be in (maybe) 30-80 degrees for four days. (This will be an R2R2R hike). These socks did not disappoint. My feet stayed warm. You never sweat or get too hot or too cold. When I got home I didn't even take them off. I…

I LOVE THESE SOCKS - Active

My toes are consistently unusually cold from November to March, despite living in a not very cold place. I wear these socks every day at work - I stand on cement floors all day and sometimes work in the freezer several hours a week. I've tried tons of socks and virtually all have failed to keep my toes from feeling so cold they feel numb and tingly. These socks really do save my life and although the price is high they are the only socks that help my toes. I seem to get cold toes in the winter…

The best wool socks I've ever had

Possibly the best socks I've ever bought! It's always cold at my house in winter, so I wear thick wool socks to keep my feet warm. I've had three pairs of Smartwool and after one winter I've managed to get holes in each sock under the ball of my foot and in the toe box. Smartwool is definitely not a cheap brand so I was very disappointed to see them wear out after a few months of wearing them around the house. I stumbled across Darn Tough and have never looked back. These socks are very thick…

Rescue for delicate feet!

I love them! Not my first pair of Darn Toughs, I bought them specifically to import new documents. I am very prone to blistering and bruising on my feet and have very thin skin on my heels; I was NOT hoping to break that thick skin. Imagine the princess and the pea, but with every pair of shoes. Ouch. I've had a bit of sore skin on my heels since I first put my boots on, but all I had to do was put band-aids on and those wonderful socks and boom, no more pain! Nice and thick padding, my only…

My new favorite socks!

I was looking for warm socks that don't feel like you're in a sauna after a few hours, especially when you're sleeping. I've tried SO MANY socks. The search is over! They are ideal for cold days or nights. I can walk on cold tile floors without slippers and my feet are still warm. They are not warm enough to make your feet sweat. I can actually sleep in it and don't want to take it off because I get hot in the middle of the night. They seem to adjust to your body temperature because it was very

I love these socks! Best in Active

I'm a little sock freak. I'm also tall and wear size 10 women's shoes/boots, so I have a hard time finding regular socks in local stores that fit well, are long enough on the leg and aren't too tight or stretchy. , and their toe seams don't rub when I'm wearing my nice leather boots or certain shoes. These socks have no toe seams at all and what a treat THAT is! They fit around the feet and ankles but not too tight. And because this particular style is meant for hiking, the entire sole of each…
