Would probably fit a 1/2 ton truck

Not too much compression on these shocks. Put them on and swap them out for a heavier shock absorber rated for a 3/4 ton truck.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • So-so

If you have Cummins it can be a bit heavy

Unfortunately it didn't fit my 2006 Cummins, it seems a good set. I think Cummins is too heavy for this kit, five stars for super fast shipping.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • There are nuances

Decent but painful chassis

Make sure you have a spare car and gas to drive across the state and get nuts and bolts not included. It also helps to have 2 jacks and jack stands.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Only the looks improved

Made my two wheeler ride a lot smoother as promised. It also took away what the raked look had flattened it. It just looks better in every way. I don't know why the manufacturers of these trucks are still throwing away two wheel drive, it looks so stupid.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

Shocks and spacers on lift and suspension kits

Shocks are rubbish and the block looked like styrofoam didn't want to lie was very disappointed and it seemed the item wasn't safe to fit on a truck. The shocks go in and won't come back (worse than the worn out shocks I currently have on the truck). I hope this helps to buy spacers, rear blocks and shocks separately.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Doesn't work well with 5.9 2WD 2500 - 3500

I'm a mechanic with 20 years experience and I can say the only thing that was really good in the box was the flat seals. Shocks are NOT designed for 2500-3500. I believe they would be good for a 1500 truck or non-diesel engine. The valving isn't aggressive enough to hold my 5.9 engine truck properly and the shock diameter is about half that of my factory shocks.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic

The front shock absorbers did not work. had to reuse the Monroe shocks I had. The lower brackets are not wide enough for the studs. and no, I didn't want to drill new holes and get them to work. If they say they fit, they should snap like any other shock when you head to your local shop. Now I have useless shock absorbers as a paper scale.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
