The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

In the case of connecting to a computer via type-c, and if the OS does not support the function of a small battery discharge, do not leave the computer permanently connected to the station. Thus, I killed my battery on a macbook pro, since macOS now knows how to undercharge the battery.

    Pros
    • A good docking station, a great choice if you need to use a laptop in conjunction with multiple monitors. Three outputs to monitors, plus several free usb ports, allow you to keep all connections in one place without turning the table into a cluster of wires.
    Cons
    • Minor disadvantages: - The software does not support the macbook mode with the lid closed, and judging by the forums - the devil knows when it will appear. Here we must pay tribute, the software, starting with Catalina, is being actively developed, and it is not known whether it is by dell. - only 1 hdmi port, I personally somehow got used to connecting everything via hdmi, and I had to buy adapters for the display port for the first time, because there were no other options for me. - big power supply

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

A good station, sometimes the USB ports are bugged, but this is not very critical for me, the main thing is that there is a picture on several monitors. Has some pros: 1. Powerful power supply 2. Compact docking station (if you do not take into account the power supply) Has some cons: 1. When working with a poppy, USB ports are not connected to the docking station, you have to turn off the station from the power supply, close the laptop, connect the dock to the laptop, and only then turn off…

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

Some pros: I use with macboock air on m1, this thing allows you to work with 3 additional monitors using displayLink drivers. Cons: The cable from the dock to the laptop is not replaceable, there is a chance that it will become unusable, but you can’t change it, it would be better if there was a thunderbolt cable.

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

Some pros: Displaylink technology made it possible to get 3 outputs for three monitors in 4K resolution. Connected to a Dell inspiron 5593 laptop that outputs only Full HD Some cons: The vile DELL support organization in 2022 does not work with individuals, rather it simulates work.

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

Do not keep the computer permanently connected to the station if you are connecting it via type-c to a computer and the operating system does not support the function of a small battery discharge. As a result, I was able to completely drain the battery on my MacBook Pro because macOS is now able to improperly charge batteries.

    Pros
    • If you need to utilize a laptop in conjunction with more than one monitor, investing in a quality docking station is one of your best bets. You are able to keep all of your connections in one spot thanks to the presence of three outputs to displays as well as multiple free USB ports, which prevents the table from becoming cluttered with wires.
    Cons
    • A couple of minor drawbacks include the following: - The software does not support the macbook mode with the lid closed, and judging by the forums, the devil knows when it will emerge. Here we must pay tribute, the software, starting with Catalina, is being actively developed, and it is not known whether it is by dell. - there is only one HDMI port, I somehow became used to connecting everything via HDMI, and it was the first time that I had to buy adapters for the display port since there were no other alternatives for me. - because there is only one HDMI port, there are no other possibilities for me. a significant power source

    I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

Its pros: You can connect more than 1 monitor on Macbook Air M1, other hubs can only 1 monitor, thanks to DisplayLink technology The hub adequately charges the poppy, you no longer need to carry a charger with you (I bought myself a new one for ebay for 7500, I bought it at work for 12k from the store) I use USB and RJ45, HDMI and DP, I did not check the sound Got cons: Turning the display vertically does not want to work, or rather the poppy switches, and the display remains horizontal. This

There are some variations, but tolerable on the whole.

Some pros: + All in one + Feels good + From Macbook to M1 allows you to connect two additional monitors via display link (the driver is downloaded separately) + The plug of the power supply glows beautifully Has some cons Expensive, heavy and large + huge power supply (not very mobile) : there is a problem with the usb ports of the docking station with poppies on the M1. The problem is known and there is no solution yet (Apr. 22). So for now, I use M1 only to connect monitors .

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

In general, it’s normal, adequate docking stations are not supplied in the 2022, so I would gladly take something from Kensington or Targus, but alas. Pros: Allows you to display additional monitors on a poppy with M1, for this, in fact, it was taken. This is where the merits end. Its cons: The power supply is slightly larger than the dock itself. Made as pofigistically as possible, cheap plastic, cheap connection cables, etc. The guys should learn from the Chinese, they rivet cheap gan…

Good value for money, I recommend it.

In general, I am satisfied with the docking station, my initial task was to connect the laptop to the workplace with one external monitor and use the laptop screen as a second monitor, with one cable, the station copes with this task with a bang, the station has an external power supply and is the same size as itself dock station. The docking station heats up noticeably, but given its compact size and passive cooling, I don’t consider it a serious drawback.

    Pros
    • Connected two monitors through two DP ports
    Cons
    • When connecting two monitors via DP, one of them duplicates the laptop monitor, perhaps this is a feature of either the docking station or my Thinkbook 14 G2 ARE laptop

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

DELL 6000 bought in September 2022 for 14,000. Good devices and technologies, device design miscalculations can be justified, but the lack of support and understandable, easily accessible information is a huge problem for me personally. In general, this was the last purchase of DELL products. Got pros: Notebook Dell inspiron 15 5000 | 5593, a discrete graphics card Mx 230, 4GB is software limited and by no means could get 4K on an external monitor, and using the DisplayLink technology…

There are some variations, but tolerable on the whole.

The equipment is generally promising, but the firmware let us down. It gives the feeling that DisplayLink is still a raw technology, but there is hope for future ates. Also, for the sake of experiment, I stuck Galaxy A31 with Android 10 and DisplayLink Presenter - unfortunately the combination did not work at all. And it would be very cool to turn a smartphone into a dual-monitor desktop. It’s hard to praise the device in general, because I wanted this thing as a universal dock, which is…

    Pros
    • - Versatility. - Support USB-A and USB-C v3.0. - Simple design.
    Cons
    • - With Win10 it's really buggy. If you reconnect the main USB (-A) cable, then the second hdmi monitor starts up very badly (black screen, then flickering, then an image with "artifacts"). As a result, you still have to restart the power dock, then everything is ok. I really hope for a firmware ate. - I confirm that night illumination does not work in Windows. - The question is unclear, but it also doesn't seem to be able to send audio to external monitors. At least there are no connected HDMI monitors as audio devices.

Disappointed with the product, not good for anything.

For a MacBook (probably for other devices as well), it's best to look for another device if you're going to use ALL ports. This misunderstanding is not worth buying. I bought a new sealed docking station on ebay. I regret that it is not in a normal store, otherwise I would have passed it. They were not in normal stores, apparently no one wants to get involved with this.

    Pros
    • All ports worked at first Multiple monitors via DisplayLink still work with MacBook Pro m1
    Cons
    • The USB ports stopped working properly. There are several threads on the DisplayLink forum with similar problems without solutions. Judging by this docking station and the usb hub in the Dell monitor, there is no difference between Chinese nonames and the products of this company. Extremely overheating, plastic housing does not dissipate heat.

This item is amazing. I work from home from time to time and managed to get proprietary documentation for my laptop. My mother-in-law often travels from abroad and she just got a new laptop for the trip so she can work remotely. Instead of working with a laptop, I decided to try Universal Document. It has two display ports and one HDMI and can control all three monitors via USB-3 or USB-C. The monitors I am currently working on are a pair of Dell Ultrasharp U2715H monitors with a resolution of…

Has its issues, but it's great when it works.

I've had intermittent issues with this for the past 6 months. I bought it in October 2018 and use it almost every day. It sits on my desk and has 2 monitors attached to it. and when I'm working from home, I connect and charge my laptop through the USB-C port. As for the problem, it loses power or restarts from time to time, as well as all connected USB devices and monitors. will disconnect and reconnect after a second or two. There are also times when I'm working on my laptop and the mouse or…

MacBook Pro (Retina 13" Early 2015). I installed the DisplayLink drivers and Dell recommended drivers and have been using them ever since. In fact, I just bought my second one to use on location for my commissioned work. The 9560 *TACHS* it, but you get a BIOS AC adapter warning, but you can turn it off (and also for general use to save 9560 battery life). For the MacBook, I downloaded the DisplayLink driver and used the USB-3 adapter on the plug (I have USB-C models) and the built-in display…

Good dock for use with Thunderbolt 3. Just note a few features

A friend and I use these docks with our Dell Latitude 7480 Ultrabooks, both of which have Thunderbolt 3 and are portable View info USB and charge via same USB-C cable After installing the DisplayPort driver on both laptops according to the instructions that came with them and restarting the PC, everything worked plug and play, with a few features that I will discuss below: First, on the docking station Die Station has no switch, which means you have to plug it in AFTER the computer is turned…

3 monitors not working in practice

I'll start by saying I'm an IT professional who has spent many years troubleshooting end users with all types of hardware. . This is not an end user issue. The product works well but not if you want to control 3 monitors from your workstation/laptop in a business environment where you bring the laptop to meetings or home for the night and/or you have good habits/need to lock your PC and show timeout. I will be returning this product and will receive another D3100 and a second power supply…
