Can't do without it

Sometimes you come across a tight spot where you need a fastener or screw where space doesn't allow you to use a straight screwdriver. This tool changes the rules to make the impossible possible.

  • Rugged construction

  • Great price

High Angle Drill Adapter

I have used this product to drill a hole in plexiglass and it works great. The ability to change the length is very convenient. this adapter and get stuck.

Pros
  • Constant Testing Results
Cons
  • Obsolete Model

It's not worth it. on square drill bits

I was very happy to get this and try it out, unfortunately my bit got stuck in the hex slot after one use. Absolutely impossible to remove, now this tool is useless to me as I intended to use several different bits with this tool. Usually a big fan of Dewalt, but that's just poor quality control. Especially for this price range. Trying to return will update my review if they contact me.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some flaws

Great addition to the tool box

I bought this in place of a separate angle drill bit, this thing works great with my Dewalt punch and lets me put screws in places you normally never get to. It's much smaller than a freestanding angle drill, but now requires two hands. The bit is also almost fully recessed in the head of this angle drill, ideal for getting into tight spots; However, removing the bit can be a PITA. Have a small nail ready to pry it out from the back.

Great Tool: Drill

I built a small bench and used pocket holes. Some of the holes were out of reach with the Kreg bit and I used a socket wrench to hold the bit and tighten the screws, but it was VERY awkward. I chose this one because it was available for same day delivery in my area. I was able to work on other things and get back to my bench for a few hours which was great! The tool itself took some getting used to as you're not used to driving bits at that angle, but it made getting into tight spots a lot…

This is just one of the things you simply need.

This sturdy and agile tool is sure to come in handy. Well I see this article is probably just a "necessary tool" in certain applications. But getting this tool extension is something like "better have and don't need than need but don't have". I needed it, I didn't. Now I'm looking for an excuse to use it. The bit has a hex shank for connection to a drill/screwdriver and will fit most drill bits, however drills or drills must have a hex base. Normal (smooth) drills will not work. I haven't had…

Works perfectly. Shorter bits get stuck.

The first thing I did was literally trying to put a short regular screwdriver bit in and it choked it and stuck there on the magnet: I know better now it just lasted a lot longer or an extension adapter to use shorter ones. Surprised to see this as by far the most common bits are the shorter ones coupled with the fact that the device itself needs to be somewhat compact or it won't fit in the space you're using a rectangular driver adapter. first :/ I ended up pulling it out with some tiny…

looks solid, works if., but used goods

Stable. This works when you apply sufficient and significant sustained force (with your thumb) to the opposite side where the racquet is located. Otherwise the tool will easily jump out of the screw. This is especially true when working with very hard woods. Therefore, it is very important that you consider the space for your hand when assessing the clarity needed to use the tool. The new version has a small hole where the thumb applies constant force when using the tool, allowing a paper…
