This is the second of these that I've ordered because I really like it. It's really well made and strong. An ordinary mirror on one side is magnified on the other. It arrived dirty and worn as if it had been taken out of a dustbin on a dollar tree after rolling on the floor (see photo) even after being cleaned . Lots of fingerprints, looks very light and cheap. The glass was undamaged, just very dirty. Worth about $3 if I guessed right. It still works, it's just too expensive for what you get

Update: The pen holder broke after two months and has hardly been moved. Cheap. I have to buy better. Skip it, buy the best, save money in the long run. I bought this product for my 92 year old mother. Having recently moved into a nursing home, she didn't have a mirror to comb her hair or make sure she was okay! Revain is great for delivering things to my mom when I can't. It was one and my mom loves it! It's lightweight so she can use it when needed. She sees what she needs. and it certainly adds to their comfort. I have no doubt that this will work equally well for any age. Highly recommended!

That's good, but after a few uses it stopped being crooked. Now he'll just start falling backwards slowly until he's on the table I have him on. I leaned it against something so it doesn't do that all the time, but it's still nice to have handy!

The mirror is too heavy for the folding stand to support its own weight. It will slowly slide and fall, collide with other items on the counter, or fall off the counter and break. I do not recommend this item. Maybe I'd pack it in my travel suitcase as a backup until I find a better mirror. I chose this one because it looked just like the Conair handheld mirror I've had for over a decade. It's just a cheap imitation, which is why it doesn't work as a standing mirror.
