A simple mechanism to feed your fish!

Very direct and easy to use. I have a cap on the tank so I couldn't snap it in from the side but it still works fine as I removed the clip and just placed the feeder on top of the tank cap - I just need to make sure the feeder hole lines are present are at the top with the tank opening. When first setting up - the feeding time depends on when you run it and counts down 12/24 hours (depending on what you choose) which means you have to wait 12 or 24 hours before it works by itself

Food spills out most of the time

Not very good, but better than nothing. Sometimes he drops a lot more food than other times. Most of the food comes out the side and somehow ends up on top of the hood. I wouldn't rely on the fish being fed reliably for more than a few days - they could be getting too much and their water would be polluted, or too little and they'd starve. And you do NOT want to use this if you have problems with ants or other insects in your house, they will spill food and you will come home with bugs after…

Works perfectly! best auto feeder

When I ordered this feeder I wasn't sure if it would fit in my 2 gallon round tank. And after they received it and tried to put it on the globe, it didn't fit. I took a piece of glass 2 inches wide and 10 inches high and stuck it in the tank. I attached the feeder to a piece of glass and it works great. I use granola and apply it twice a day. I also attached a piece of string to the drum to make sure the drum was spinning and powered. I placed the cord so that it dangled on the side of the drum

Difficult to get the right amount of food for each feeding

We bought this for our small marine aquarium (a clown fish, mint shrimp, snail and hermit crab). It works great now but it took my husband a lot of effort to release the right amount of food. The first setting we tried released NO food. The next installation produced 4 times more food than our aquarium needs! My husband had to take it apart and use his tools to adjust it to dispense just the right amount of food. That issue aside, however, it works great and we've returned home from every trip…

Pretty solid and reliable

It works very well for the price. I bought it for a long weekend and continue to use it every day. The biggest challenge was adjusting the dial to dispense just the right amount of feed. I use 1/16 inch tilapia pellets. I'm getting big enough to move to my outdoor pool. I bought two of these. I needed them to give out less than they actually wanted. Click Settings. Once adjusted, they work well. Every morning at 6:53 a.m. the first one ignites, at 6:55 a.m. the second in the other tank. You…

Pretty good feeder!

I decided to give this feeder a try because of all the positive reviews and the minimal cost (about $12). PROS: The quality seems to be there, the case and the sturdy mounting mechanism. I like the fact that the drum rotates one full revolution per feeding time. That is, at the moment when the feed is dispensed, the drum makes a complete revolution at that moment. When connecting the drum, make sure that the hole is always on top so that the hole in the drum is not exposed to the water surface.

Very cheap and seems reliable. Two notable flaws.

Rating: This product is very cheap and is currently working very reliably. I would give it five stars if it weren't for two experience flaws (although they're pretty easy to fix). If you have some tape and about five minutes to make a small tweak to the product, it will work on almost any type of food with minimal moisture build-up. Pros: great price. Requires only two AA batteries to operate. Simple design that is not very prone to breakage. The feeder adapts to most fish feed sizes. Offers…
