These pens do not work as advertised.

These pens do not mark fabric properly even when using black fabric (pen color = white). It seems that the pens are dry, there is no ink at all.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing here

Works very well: Marking and tracing tools

I needed something that could mark the spot on very expensive leather. It stays wet and then dries to a pure white color. Wipe off immediately with a damp cloth. I like her

Pros
  • Builds confidence
Cons
  • No instructions

Wait a few seconds after tagging!

The white mark does not appear immediately. Wait a few seconds and the marker will appear. I monogrammed 63 Navy t shirts and these markers worked great for marking the spot. I had to rub the marks with my finger after spraying with water, but they completely disappeared.

Highly recommended, essential for sewing

This is sewing's best friend! I make tons of dresses and other dark fabrics that I need to mark pattern marks on. Dark markers do not work. These pens are amazing and look so cool. After drying, the trace becomes very light. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Very expensive

Does not wash off and does not disappear!

I used the pins on the Silhouette machine because I needed to hand cut some fabric patterns. The pens worked well for tracing the design, but when I finished cutting the marks didn't show. I tried removing them with water but to no avail and after a few weeks all traces were still there. Luckily I managed to get around this. But if I hadn't done it, the project would have failed.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • I'm worried

Give the ink time to appear.

I drew a design on black fabric with these white markers and then used fabric paints to finish the project. After reading all the reviews, I knew that white ink appeared after a few minutes. it was true The ink is faded and not like using top chalk, but I didn't want that anyway. If I wanted to make the line more visible, I just redraw it again. I've only used one pen so far and it's worked well.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Almost never

Doesn't work at all -- Dried

I bought these pens despite some reviews saying they were non-working pens. I thought maybe these people didn't wait for the color to show up or startled them. I shook 8 out of 12 (then gave up) and tried to get the points and waited for the points to come later but there were no points. Thanks for nothing as I waited 2 weeks to get something that didn't work when I needed it right now. Back to the beginning and 2 weeks back. A white pen, which then disappears or does not disappear at all, is…

Pros
  • NON-TOXIC -- Don't worry, our pens don't contain any toxic or harmful chemicals, and there's no risk of inhaling the powdery residue that common chalk is dangerous.
Cons
  • Not sure

Great price but takes some getting used to.

(1) When I first removed the cover it was dry. (2) He remains invisible. (3) It may take a few seconds to dry and whiten. (4) The next time I used it a few hours later, it looked like it had already run out of ink. (5) I tried again after a day or two and it worked fine. Bottom line: if you see a line where the product is being spread, don't follow it any further as it will take longer to dry. On large projects, work with a couple or three pens at a time so you can grab another if you…

Pros
  • Great tool for intermittent labeling on fabrics! Use this pen to sketch your embroidery designs with a light board or bright window. Don't worry about making mistakes or not covering your lines completely, as these marks will disappear!

  • Not sure

Pleasantly surprised

After reading some reviews of leaking or dry markers I wasn't sure if I should order them. The price for the number of pens offered finally prompted me to order. I figured if I had 4 working markers it would be ok to buy them and if I had more working pens I would be ahead of the game. When I checked them on arrival I was pleased to find no leaks and 12 perfectly working markers. There were a few marks that I had to shake well, but they all give a nice solid light line with no clipping. Easy to

Pros
  • WATER SOLUBLE - The marking is as easy to remove as it is to apply. Simply wipe with a damp cloth or sponge OR allow the markings to evaporate for 48 hours.
Cons
  • Available in black only.
