    For Mac mini Late 2012

Trying to get the maximum resolution from my late 2012 Mac mini is frustrating. HDMI-HDMI only delivers a low resolution. You must use Thunderbolt 2 output with Mac. but the Thunderbolt to HDMI cable does NOT deliver the highest resolution. I couldn't get Thunderbolt 2 to USB-C cables to work at all. The only thing that works is Thunderbolt 2 for DiplayPort. AFTER ALL! IT WORKS! My resolution is up to 3840x2160.

Looks good, doesn't fit my Dell. maybe my mistake.

Operator error. I thought the "mini DP" port on my Dell was the correct name for it. It can also be called something else. This cable appears to be high quality, but the mini jack was too big for my PC. Is there "micro dp" or "ultra tiny dp" or "little jack"?

Well made quality cable that works well. The fabric looks good too.

This cable works fine. It is used with a MacBook Pro Thunderbolt/Mini-DisplayPort connector to connect a 27" Dell P2720DC QHD (2560 x 1440) monitor at 60Hz/24-bit. The cable works fine. Not that hard to squeeze, but always still with a fairly high resolution and therefore high throughput through the cable. The cable looks well made, the outer layer of fabric looks good and probably also protects the cable. The cable is relatively flexible. also for this type of cable. Generally I am full and…

    Works well at 4k 60hz with a 15 " MBP Late 2013

After several hdmi-mdp adapters and only 4k 30hz instead of the advertised 4k 60hz, I returned the adapters and just bought this dp-mdp instead I should have just bought this cable to start with instead of the HDMI adapters as I am now getting 4k 60hz on my 2013 15th MBP and on a PC with a Dell P2715q monitor Looks great and is solid and working out of the box without having to adjust any settings.

Works with Macbook Pro Retina Mid 2014

I was looking for a cable that would allow me to use my 2K widescreen gaming display with my Macbook Pro Retina Mid 2014. I bought 2 other cables that don't work. HDMI works, but it's on the opposite side of the charging port and is a bit larger so it gets in the way at times. I bought other mini displayport cables that don't support resolution. This is the first cable that has served its purpose and at a good price.

Solid cable suitable for computer accessories and peripherals

As far as I know, the cable does exactly what it describes. Works well with my monitor and haven't noticed any signal or connection issues. First, the cable has some weight, and if it hangs down, the right-angle connections will become stressed over time.

2560 x 1440 resolution on my Dell u2713HMT from my MacBook Pro

I bought this cable to get the highest possible resolution of 2560 x 1440 on my Dell Ultrasharp u2713HMT with my Late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina. The easiest way seems to be to use one of the Mac's Thunderbolt ports as a mini Displayport and connect it to a Dell Displayport with this cable. Worked great. Mac defaults to Dell's maximum resolution. Oh, and the little velcro strap that comes with it is a nice touch. It is useful and elegant combined with the cable.

    Great for 1440p at 144Hz

I bought this cable to use with the Razer Blade 2018 and Monoprice Ultrawide. This cable has worked great so far to display 1440p at 144Hz properly.

Works with Alienware m17 laptop on an external monitor!

I have an Alienware m17 R1 4K (UHD) 60Hz laptop that I use for photo editing, but I bought a 27" QHD 144Hz monitor for gaming. I used this cable to connect a mini Connecting the laptop display to the monitor's display port cable connector The laptop (windows 10) recognized the monitor but I had to go to the Nvidia Control Center to manually select the monitor setting (1440p @ 144Hz) After that everything worked fine. After I unplugged the cable, windows reverted to the laptop's 4K screen. The…

Good but keeps my monitor awake

The cable is of decent quality and seems solid. However, for a long time I couldn't figure out why my monitor wouldn't go to sleep (it used to always do). Some searching has led me to several forums where said cable can sometimes be the culprit. Of course, another cable allowed the monitor to sleep. A bit of a hassle but for the money I think it's ok as long as you don't mind turning the monitor on and off manually. I have a habit of just walking away after locking my desktop, so it's a little…

    Thunderbolt cable

I recently bought a gaming laptop with two display ports, one USB 3.2, one Mini DisplayPort. I prefer to use my gaming monitor than the laptop's built-in monitor, so I use that one. I didn't want to keep using the USB-C connector for DisplayPort, so instead I bought this cable to free up my USB-C. Every time my laptop goes to sleep, I have to unplug the cable, log in, and then plug the cable back in. Also, my large display randomly dims while playing/watching Netflix etc. I never had this…
