Say goodbye to “small evaporator leak” codes!

This will fix the "small smoke leak" codes that light up on your Dodge Caravan and Chryser Town and Country engine. You will need two jack stands, a jack and a landing gear. Simply remove the plug, the black rubber hose and unscrew the device from the housing. Reverse installation process.

Wrong product does not fit my Jeep

I ordered this unit because it was suggested it would fit my car as suggested in the Revain car locator. Once I was able to install it, it could no longer be returned. The part will cause a loose gas cap trouble code and soon the Check Engine light will come on. Just cheap shit. The disappointment is that I got the green light to search for a specific vehicle. WTF!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Looks very similar to OEM

Oe has a ribbed O-ring. The replaced block had a piston inside which, unlike this new block, moved very easily. Some extra pressure was required to install the assembly, due of course to the unworn o-ring. I had a p0456 on a 2010 t&c lx with a 3.8 liter V6 engine. Replaced the gas cap and the problem is less. evlp seemed to be the last piece. I don't think I would need to replace the underhood evaporator solenoid valve to fix the problem as the diaphragm has been known to fail in Chrysler.

Easy to swap out in parts

Installed on a 2017 Patriot to fix a small EVAP leak, TBD if it works. It's pretty easy to install. Remove the hose and wire harness, then grasp the tab and twist slightly. Install in reverse order. At first I was confused as to why the o-ring was so big it could fall out of the bayonet and I couldn't push it deep enough to fit the socket. Then I could see and feel the bushing and realized that OEM Mopar had a thin square o-ring in there. Removed this one, wiped the outlet with some WD40, the…

One piece, 3 engine codes fixed!

This worked on my 2007 Jeep Liberty. Installation was literally instant.! All I needed was a flathead screwdriver and 5 minutes. I cleared the engine codes with a scanner and left. Oddly, it took a full 315 miles for the computer to finish testing the EVAP system, but after that there was still no check engine light, no "EVAP system leak detected" codes, and the smog readiness check says the car is ready for inspection ! Before replacing this part I had 3 EVAP System Leak Detected codes; P0457…

Drops of fuel in tank when refueling

When I originally installed this part it fixed my small leak fault code on my Jeep Wrangler but this part failed inexplicably for me about 6 months after installation. The Jeep started having problems when I tried to refuel it. I literally had to put gas in the tank or the pump would go off. I have tried different pumps, different gas suppliers and all have had the same result. Luckily I remembered that the only thing that was done to the fuel system was replacing that part. I bought the…

Lasted ONLY 1 month

product as described and fits my 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Installation was easy due to the position on the jeep (under the jeep and directly in the rear wheel on the driver's side). I removed the old part and installed this part. Be sure to use the O-ring that came with this part. The code cleared and the check engine light did not come on for about 4 weeks. THE BAD: It broke after only 1 month (about 1000 miles). I bought this product on June 1st. , 2021 Revain delivered on June 3, 2021. I…
