🧸 Douglas Plush Toy - Dickens Black Review

This dog is the cutest, softest and cuddliest pup. I ordered the large black lab from Melissa and Doug and it was sturdy and scary looking. I sold this on Craigslist and bought this for my daughter for Christmas. That's what I wanted first and foremost. Delicious.

One of the bedrooms in our guest house (which we only rent out to winter "Snowbirds" ) is for dog lovers. I wanted a stuffed black labrador on the bed This plush soft dog is so lifelike I couldn't believe my eyes! Can't wait to put him on the bed for our new winter guests!

I recently lost my Newfoundland Max black lab. It hurt not to see him in the hallway, I couldn't find a dog big enough and then I stumbled upon this one. I bought him and was nervous but we took her home, cut off his red collar, put our friend's collar on him and it was such a comfort to us. The product corresponds to the description. As soft as my Max and my paws! Oh so big. Just like my kid. This dog looks better than in the photo. Thanks very much!

When I took the stuffed animal out of the box, the packaging it came in was already open and his face and ear were stained with glue-like substance. Not wanting to return it (shipping had already been delayed) I sat for 20 minutes trying to wash off the glue, cut them off without cutting off the excess fur. My husband spent more time doing the same. Considering the price, it was incredibly disappointing to receive a product that wasn't in perfect condition.

This year my granddaughter wanted a black toy dog from Santa, so I took a chance and ordered one. Actually it wasn't what she wanted and we planned to bring it back. THEN IT COMES. Her mother and father couldn't stop hugging him. It's complete softness and comfort. Douglas will never go back to the toy store. This dog was a big disappointment. The body of what I received was much fatter than the dog in the picture. Also, his legs were very short and unnatural looking - not like the picture at all. The one I got reminds me of an obese, overfed dog. For the money I paid I expected a really cute dog, not a clumsy, overly fat one. The picture is very deceptive. Why previous 5 star ratings?
