I really liked this little one. My grandson loves his elf on the shelf very much and hates it when he leaves. This year he asked Santa for a statue and that's all I could find. Actually it worked perfectly since it has a shadow box. Perfect size and he loved it!

Nice thing, but it ripped out of the box when we went to show it off, as others have reported. Why can't they make it out of stronger plastic? It's too fragile for an adult, so don't even think about giving it to a child.

This article is smaller than I thought it would be. Maybe I didn't read the description carefully. It's cute and, as pictured, about half the size I imagined. I went back and checked the measurements listed for this item and it was clear it was small (1 x 1 x 1 inch) so that was my fault. He's still very cute.

Very small and delicate. 5 minutes after opening my 4 year old broke his leg. I thought it would be a sweet reminder to put it somewhere high up in the house and leave it there year round because she always listens best when I say "Elf is watching you, you do better xxxx" : )

Item arrived very quickly with overnight delivery. I ordered on Thursday at 9pm and the next day at 8am my Elf was on the shelf! Unfortunately he was somehow half wrapped in bubble wrap and his leg was completely broken. Luckily I'm a super glue cadet. Now it's safe and sound again, but the spot where it broke becomes obvious when you walk up to get a look at the figurine. This is not a Barbie sized posable doll. This little guy looks like a "vintage" elf on a shelf, it was a plastic figurine that was either standing or sitting, mostly in a sitting position. I knew that when I ordered it. I don't have any kids it's just a fun cute thing to bring for Christmas. Well, even though he's in a sitting position, he won't sit down without leaning against something. I do not like it.
