Fantastic product and price

I found the installation and setup very easy. The documentation is more than adequate and thorough. The product itself is very well designed and made. I used this on a chest freezer that had a faulty thermostat that is no longer available as a replacement. I was able to easily rewire the device so that I now have digital control instead of an analog/mechanical device. Very satisfied!

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not everything fits

It does the job.: Temperature controls

Maybe it's me, but there weren't any wiring instructions so it seemed a bit overly complicated. However, once plugged in, it seems to do its job. It is used for more accurate temperature control in my 75 gallon tank. As it ages the internal thermostat often gets stuck in opposition and this will help reduce that anxiety and give me a good digital readout for more accurate temperature tracking.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great Price Solid State Temperature Controller

This controller was used to replace a faulty controller on a wine cooler. Cheaper than just replacing the temperature sensor and much more efficient. It even allows you to program the "swing” temperature (switch-on temperature is lower than switch-off temperature) and the minimum compressor switch-on delay. Durable design. I wish it was in Fahrenheit, but a printed conversion table (Fahrenheit <-> Celsius) easily solves this problem.

  • Great Design

  • Unbelievable Price

Ease of use for temperature and humidity

2nd review, where have they gone? I like the controller, it's small, simple, easy to connect and easy to see on the display. There is also a minimum of programming, but the instructions typical of Chinese products are not very good. Go online and watch the video tutorial - remember that once you've set the Set/Function/Set/Program settings, press the Power button, which will SAVE the temperature setting you've set! Can't address the durability issue, but so far it's working well and maintaining

good at modern electronics, needs a little patience to set it up

I use this as a basic cooling thermostat; Turn on the fan when the air temperature exceeds the threshold. Installation was easy. I made my own custom mounts. I cut an old computer power cord in two to connect 120VAC to this unit and the fan. As mentioned, I had to play around with the cyclic menu system to get the settings I wanted. The air temperature (inside the data cabinet) changes slowly so I'll need some hands-on experience to see if it does what I want, but I think the fault will be with

Perfect for home brewing, I currently use it in my fermenter.

Use this for proofer. In my build I draw cold air from my kizer into the chamber, this unit turns on the fan when the chamber gets too warm. The temperature sensor is accurate and once you set it up it works great. I've had my mead in the chamber for about a month and it has done its job very well the whole time. There aren't many clear instructions for this unit, but YouTube fixes that. My setup powers this unit from the wall and then powers a 15 amp outlet. In an outlet, the top and bottom…

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

This is STC-1000: Temperature controller

This is the standard temperature controller and appears to be the most affordable Revain unit. I connected it to control the fermentation temperature. This unit is in degrees Celsius only; If you crave Fahrenheit readings, grab the Inkbird ITC-1000 Inkbird 2-Step Digital Temperature Controller, Fahrenheit Thermostat with Sensor for 3D Printer, Freezer, Fridge, Hatch, etc. for a little more money. The connection diagram is correct and corresponds to the electrical regulations. There are several…

Fixed air dryer for almost $100 less than factory parts

Both the hygrostat and defrost thermostat on my 20 year old American Frigidaire dehumidifier got stuck and turned into an iceberg. Frigidaire charged about $140 for both parts. That's almost the price of a new dryer! I repaired almost a hundred dollars less with this STC-1000; its brother, the WH8040 humidistat; and a 120 VAC relay to extend the life of relay contacts in controls. (It's worth noting that doing so invalidated the dehumidifier's UL listing. Had it been newer, I would have lost my

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

These are the most affordable and versatile built-in thermostat switches I've found. However, to use them, you must have some basic wiring skills. They are not "plug and play". I placed the controller box in a 22.5cc switch box with a single outlet. It can be used without an output box, but I find it much easier to manage. Unfortunately, the STC-1000 block doesn't quite fit the standard wide-mouth wallplate cover, but a little trimming will make it fit (get the nylon). The device has side…
