Reliable and Easy Structural Engineering Software

I like that it allows you to simulate multiple structures, such as beams or columns in one model without having different models of each structure separately (such as with ANSYS). It's also easy enough so anyone can use even if they have no experience modeling structural elements! There are some features missing compared to other more expensive programs; however these could be added easily by community members who would benefit from them most - e.g., importing meshes instead of using point…

Pros
  • In short , learning curve isn’t high either way making both beginner & advanced user alike feel comfortable working inside environment once familiarizing themselves w/ basic functions / options included
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Very Good Software For Structural Engineering

I like the visualisation and the simulation results (which are very close to the real situation). I think that Elmer is still a good choice, but it could be better in terms of usability. At the moment, there are still many bugs (which are annoying), and the interface is not very intuitive. I think that the use of this software is easy and intuitive, and the results for some of my simulations are good. At the moment, I am solving a problem related to the analysis of a structure that is subject…

Pros
  • Easy
  • Intuitive user Interface
  • Fast processing.
  • Good Results..etc
Cons
  • Not bad

Good software for stress analysis: Elmer

The visual interface allows you to see clearly all aspects of your models, allowing it easy access even without technical knowledge from physics or mathematics background. You can design model easily with drag & drop functionality in 3D viewport window, while maintaining high level detail through multi-physics modeling tools. When editing complex models the performance may be slow when loading files such as meshes or solids which have very large number of elements (elements). There are also…

Pros
  • Clean Interface
  • Easy use for new users.
  • Simplify engineering analysis process; reduce effort spent designing simulations/experiments before actually starting simulation / experiment testing phase,
  • User friendly environment where people get more engaged because they feel safe enough not feeling so anxious anymore after seeing everything is well organized into one simple software package., eXplore what needs improvements within
Cons
  • Not bad
