An amazing product to add to my Grab and Go.

I am seriously considering buying more of these for the many homeless people I see every day. Great product for my emergency bag.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Extremely helpful when I went to Mt

Extremely useful when I went to Mt Everest base camp. My only complaint is that they are very noisy. Not something you'd worry about in a survival emergency, but I've only used mine to pad blankets in the poorly insulated guest house I was staying in, so the rustling kept waking me up.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Some errors

Great for car emergency kits!

My family and I travel a lot during the holiday season and are often far away from home and family. I bought these for our car crash kits and I'm really glad we didn't have to use them! However, I have used identical products in the past and they do the job fantastically. Cheap insurance to avoid an emergency

  • Everything is fine!

Good mylar bag for emergencies

Received as a gift and keep for yourself. I have used mylar rescue blankets in the past. They break too easily. The Leberna performed well and did not break like the others at the first opportunity. I would buy them again and definitely gift them to my outdoor friends. Great price, solid quality, far above average durability. Everyone should carry light emergency gear. That's one of mine.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • High price

Outdoor Recreation Needs Improvement

For maximum warmth in cold weather, the opening requires either a bungee cord closure or multiple Velcro straps to remain closed during use. For noise reduction, consider a light mesh or mat on one side, which can reduce reflectivity a bit but reduce noise during use. In some situations, avoiding hypothermia is important, but getting enough sleep to think clearly is crucial in all situations, especially those that last longer. Many rescue operations are not possible for several days.

  • This Is Awesome
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

Compact, portable and versatile

I love that it's made of double-sided Mylar, which allows heat to flow in and out effectively. Southern California is a watered desert and a great land of fires. I assume that if I ever need to pull them out they might be effective for daytime cooling and could offer minimal protection from extreme heat to car occupants escaping a fire. The reflective surface is better for signaling help at long range than orange. I put one in each bag for our family.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • So far so good

ok i think? - Emergency Blankets

I used this product during my overnight stay at Joshua Tree but am not sure if it actually did what it was supposed to do. I used my 20 degree sleeping bags in 40 degree weather and was warm. I slipped into a thermal mylar with a sleeping bag as the outer layer, which I was zipped into. I noticed that my socks were quite damp, perhaps due to the slight condensation effect from the heat of the inner layer compared to the cold temperature outside of the tent. Just saying I'm not sure if in 40…

Great for emergencies!

It's a fantastic size (7ft x 3ft) when unfolded and incredibly compact in its nylon carry case. These sleeping bags may not be reused. This is a lightweight material that is likely to tear a bit during use. Remember, this product is designed to save your life in an emergency. Nice little backpack with a quality nylon drawstring pouch that fits nicely in the emergency kit in my trunk. I bought four of these because I don't want to decide who doesn't get one if the situation arises. They're…

Inexpensive emergency kit is a must for anyone exploring.

These are ideal for emergencies and are great value for money. I also bought a Heavy Duty Titanium for comparison. They're about 30% lighter, so probably thinner (too thin to use a digital caliper for comparison). I don't know if thicker means they can be reused, but at 5-8 times the price they're best used in an emergency and then just thrown away. I don't think the extra cost of the Titan is worth it as I believe they should all come apart equally easily and hold heat the same (although I'd…
