I wish Knipex would make something like this because the jaws on these things aren't that hard. Removing a stubborn hardened screw or bolt will cause visible wear on the jaws. After the first pair started to wear out I bought a second pair because they work when I have nothing else, but I'm not used to thinking of pliers as disposable. If the sponges were as hard as my Knipex Cobra pliers, they would be worth 6 stars.

These pliers are awesome! I just used them on a big fencing project and they bind the wire together easier than any other pliers I've ever used. The facility featured Knipex, Gearwrench, and Irwin pliers, and the Engineer pliers were much easier and quicker to use. I bought this in preparation for when I needed to fix some of my cabinets with rusty screws that were soft and stripped from over tightening.
