Instructions backwards

I have two main complaints about this book. When she describes how to create the initial triangles, she first shows them slanted to the right, and on every website I've found the triangles in the first row are slanted to the left. This doesn't seem like such a big deal until you get to my second problem. I felt this book was really lacking in details like how to cast on, how to finish the last triangle in a row. These are details that can cause a lot of headaches trying to figure it all out…

the best book on Entrelac

Over the years of knitting (+40) I've even developed my own Entrelacs. The only book I saw before this year was from Australia, written many years ago and now unavailable. I bought this book and the second one that was recently published and I really think this book is the best of the three. First, Drysdale does not overcomplicate the issue. Antrelacs are not difficult and easy to construct as you only need to knit a pattern with a few triangles and then 2 rows of rectangles. She is direct and…

By far the best Entrelac knitting book! This is the book I wished I had when I first tried Entrelac. It includes large, beautiful photos that illustrate each step in making a mezzanine, as well as detailed information on how to avoid holes at the junctions of triangles and rectangles.
