Description of Beige EPAX Resin Printers for High-Quality Printing

Specially formulated for very large printers but works great with printers large or small. Great for making miniatures. Very stable resin and can tolerate more background light. Has wider light tolerance range and great for mono screen LCD printers. ABS-like performance. Hard with great toughness.

Works great on Mono machines!

Fantastic on mono machines. Good color and low smell. Highly recommended. A bit bloated so not recommended for engineering purposes but for miniatures and such this stuff is great.

Best high detail resin for miniatures

This is my miniature resin, I like to use it, the curing time can be a little longer, but no easy bleed, the underside of my prints is clean. I am using this resin on a Phrozen Sonic Mini 4k and it only took a few prints to get amazing detail.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use

  • Some problems

Skip everything else, just get this.

In general, the best resin for mono screen installations is small. Check the EPAX website for bulk orders. Sonic Mini with 0.05 layers in 3 seconds or 0.03 layers in 2.8 seconds, 70% Epax Hard and 30% Tenacious blend produces phenomenal detail and very durable prints. Much stronger than any other resin, both in the force required to deform and in resistance to deformation. The level of detail is completely independent of the mixing of this mix, it's just magic for miniature printing.

  • Impressive

Great resin, excellent detail, slight smell

The prints I've made with this resin seem to have slightly more detail or clarity/definition than the water washable Epax I've also used . This resin can be easily cleaned with alcohol. The treatment was simple and uncomplicated. This resin has a stronger smell; The water washable resin smells less than the alcohol I use to clean, it's stronger than the smell of alcohol. Very happy with my first dozen or 15 prints. Excellent resin.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Not my favorite, the pigment comes off quickly

I have an Epax X1-K black and white screen printer. I have only used Siraya Tech Fast Gray (STFG) or another Siraya Tech Blu & Clear resin in the past. This resin works well and prints fine detail, but I'm sticking with STFG. Epax Hard is significantly darker than gray and the pigments peel off quickly even after just 20-30 minutes in the tub. I turn the prints over in the vat to look for bits of misprints that will affect my next print. When you stir Epax you can see the pigment settles to the

This stuff is amazing!

I don't want to write this review because I want to keep this amazing resin a secret but I know how hard it is to find a good resin. has been used before. It is also the thinnest resin and the strongest. The pictures don't do it justice. I dropped a few pieces on a brick like in the video I posted, I dropped a mini 5 times and I didn't have any breaks. If you want to print any mini, use this material. I used an Elegoo which looks like a press but wasn't very strong and didn't give nearly as…

Best for wide format and long prints

I have an elegoo Saturn printer and an epax x156 printer. I have tried many resins in many different circumstances. Each resin has its strengths and weaknesses. Water soluble resin tends to delaminate easily under pressure or improper support. Standard resin is extremely brittle and very difficult to remove from the build plate. thickens to FEP on long prints (over 10 hours or so). This resin tends to discolour separately, meaning the color will not retain its consistency throughout the print…
