Very good screen but takes some getting used to

I've had this screen for a few years now and it's the best and highest quality screen for the money but it takes a bit. Getting used to: Sometimes some mounting screws fall out and need to be replaced (if you're lucky enough to find them) and you have to be very careful to screw them in properly. Sometimes it is difficult to align it when closed. But when this one wears out or is beyond repair, I will definitely buy another one. My wife and I are hobby historians and do a lot of PowerPoint…

More like a giant widescreen TV than a giant movie.

Heavy but well built. Not exactly for travel, but it's nice to be able to store it away. The gold lines in the center of the screen are visible in white light but are not visible in most movies. The only thing I didn't expect is that the screen is wide enough, but not particularly long due to the design. This meant we had to scale down the image to fit the screen. The end result isn't a giant cinema screen, but a big, widescreen TV. Works very well for a small living room. Those looking for a…

Watch out for loose screws

Already ordered in June 2015. The only complaint back then - the screen seems to stick out in the middle when you open it. I would rate it 4 stars. The reason I am writing this review and giving it two stars is that the last time I opened the screen a screw came loose. I only used the screen a couple of times so this shouldn't have happened. This caused the entire skeleton of the projector to fail. As the projector turned over, a screw or loose metal caused holes in my screen. I was able to…

Rugged, Slim, Comfortable, and Inexpensive

After looking at typical portable projector screens in the $70-$80 range, I settled on the Epson Duet, which was about twice the price, because it was so sturdy and looked comfortable. I made the right choice. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Although it has two small pleats running either side of the middle, they don't come into play at all. When the projection is directly perpendicular to the screen, no wrinkles are visible at all. They only show with side light. We saw a Star Wars…

Exactly what I was looking for

The form factor of this product is awesome. There are several issues that I can comment on below. 1) My problem is that I'm traveling and want to take it with me. My solution was to use a solid wheeled golf bag. Most airlines allow you to check in your luggage with ease. Duet measures 46.2 x 12.2 x 9.3 inches. A typical golf bag with card holder has an overall height of 51 inches, an overall interior height of 47.5 inches, an overall interior width of 11 inches, and an overall interior depth of

Epson Projection Screen (Size Listed)

Overall this is a good item and probably the best option in the $100 price range. It is as easy to use as possible and easy to store/transport when needed.*****PROS: - Good image quality (depending on your source/projector of course) - Very easy setup. The first setup out of the box takes about 10 minutes. After that only 1-2 minutes - Storage: The screen folds away when not in use - Transport: The entire unit (including the stand) is designed to be easily moved. It's not too heavy and even has

Functional and heavy

A very nice screen with some limitations. As mentioned in several other reviews, there is some wiggle room in the middle due to the lack of support. However, if you are being judged because there are small dark areas on your screen, the problem is with those judging, not with your presentation. Yes, I know if it were perfectly stretched it would look better, but the results aren't terrible. Most people who look will not notice or care. For portable devices, it depends on the person. It is well…

Incredibly cute! for TV & Video

It's nice to be impressed when you open a new Revain product. Reviews are important to the buyer and they were to me. I had to add my two cents: this product kills. I have classes once a month and needed a good portable screen to replace my old projector screen from the mid 60's. Some of my students complained that my old projector and screen were too small and too dark. Bought it after reading the reviews. I am very happy. It's well made and a little heavy, but not too heavy. A fairly strong…

Not without flaws but good quality portable projection screen

This screen comes with instructions, tripod, wall mounting plate and mounting hardware. I was looking for a high quality but portable projection screen to use in different areas of my home. After struggling to order another brand, I settled on a well-known brand and after finding a good discount at Epson Duet, I bought this one. While I'll be using it primarily as a home projection screen, it's also a good screen to work with. While I don't think this screen is perfect as it has a few small…
