Do not put in the dryer!

Our solarium is flooded every time it rains. We have them to prevent water from entering our kitchen. You are amazing and have saved us many times. The water comes out faster than our vacuum cleaner can handle, so it's very useful. Just don't put them in the dryer, they'll burst. Putting them in the washing machine to wring out the liquid seems fine. They can take a while to dry if oversaturated.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Not bad

Product is not the same as before

I am very disappointed with this order. They don't look like my previous grays. The ones I got this time are thinner, lighter, different quality and color. They don't hold that much water. If the supplier decides to change material, he has to enter the product information online. This is a scam and a waste of my money and time. I've added a picture, hope you can see the difference, nice gray color image.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Easily repairable

They work very well and have been reused several times

We use them to drain water between the floor and the wall of a prefab building. We have sometimes used them 4 or 5 deep along a leaky wall. They have been reused up to 5 times and some show signs of filling clogging leaving short voids. Will probably order again this spring after 10 months of use and mix new with old. One benefit of these socks over the two 12x6 foot socks I bought at the hardware store 2 years ago was that they felt wet and full, like they were so heavy.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • High price

Excellent absorbent, best in oils and liquids

Worked great. Soaked up an incredible amount of water. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because a couple of the socks ripped at the ends when I tried to wring them out. I don't know if they are meant to be reused or if they should be pushed out as aggressively as I did, but I had to reuse them very quickly. (BIG leak). FYI if you lay them out in front of a fan they will dry out, although they will lose their shape a bit after wringing them out. . Highly recommended and will buy in…

these things suck!

Works as expected

I bought these to help absorb melting snow and ice from my car after insulating my garage. You did your job. I had to place two of these over a joint in the concrete and drive over them. They held up pretty well but eventually went bust but given the circumstances I think they more than held their fair share of the business. And in a box of 50 I had a few more. I'll see if I can find another use for the remaining tubes. The only thing that bothered me was the drying time, but earlier in the…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Legacy model

A product that really works, just buy my second order

I love this product. Every time it rained we washed out the garage, tried other products that were much more expensive than this one. We placed them exactly where the water was coming from under the door and everything worked as expected. "No water got in." If the tube is only slightly damp, I'll leave it alone. Also put them in the sun to try but they don't look that good, they still work but the material inside is not that good. I also found that these tubes protect well from the cold in…

They hold quite a bit of water and get pretty heavy. I will

The material is a little thin. Fabric softener sheets are a fair comparison. I use them to prevent water from entering a cove in my basement. They hold quite a bit of water and get pretty heavy. I put a few, sometimes 1, sometimes 6, depending on the current, and place a water detector directly behind them. If the water alarm goes off, I can go down and squeeze her. I press her against the divider between the two sides of the sink. Firm but careful. Fold them in half and press again. Spinning…

  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Not the best product. Read below.

Bought because after 20 years there was water running down our house. Wanted to protect the finished room. BENEFITS: 1. They absorb water. 2. Will expand as water is absorbed. CONS: 1. They don't absorb as much water as advertised.2. VERY, VERY difficult to dry for reuse.3. The very thin upper 3 split at the seams and at their ends as they stretched when absorbing water.4. THEY ARE NOT RESISTANT TO MOLD AND MOLD. SEE PHOTOS: AFTER ONE USE THE SOCKS WERE hung FROM THE DECK IN FULL SUN FOR ONE…

Pros
  • Oils and liquids

  • Slightly crumpled
