Bowls of good quality but when I wash them there is a strange smell, I understand that they are metal but it is very strong.

My bird can just take the bowl and turn it upside down, spilling all of his expensive food on the bottom of the cage. The cops don't sit flat, there's a screw blocking them.

I have an English budgie for size comparison. Best for small parrots and whales. I would probably use them on a cockatiel but not on any larger or stronger breeds. Very easy to install in my cage and I may order more in the future as I prefer these plastic panels. By the way, the bar spacing for my cage is 1/2 inch.

These bowls are the perfect size for my cockatiel! I was a little nervous about the size because the reviews are mixed, but I think it's great! They were very easy to set up and much easier to change food and water than the previous plastic bowls that came with the cage. An added bonus were little balls to play with! Highly recommended!

I really liked this product. I have a 68 inch cage for my solar kennel. The bowls are perfect for sunbathing instead of large bowls, but the bars on the cage are further apart than regular cages and I had to go to the hardware store to buy a wider harness bracket. The brackets that come with the gut are for narrower poles like a regular birdcage.

Not a fan of these mugs. I ordered these for my little parrots and when I went to clean them the black things wouldn't stop rubbing off of them when I rubbed them with paper towels - no matter how much I rubbed them the black paint kept coming off. I've never had stainless steel bowls to make this before. I will not use them on my birds. On the other hand, the little free wine balls were great (but they are very small - about the size of a parrot).

They are made from durable stainless steel and are well made and beautifully finished - there are no sharp edges anywhere. I love them and will definitely order more! It's a nice shallow bowl that's great for my green-cheeked kennel. I wouldn't use them for larger birds unless you want a smaller plate specifically for them for some reason. The only criticism is that the free rectangular plate (used to attach to the cage) has some sharp edges on one side but is beveled on the other side. Small and easy to replace if you want to swap. I am very happy with it.

Initially we used the feeders that came with our cage for our first birds (parrots) but we didn't like them. They were a nuisance to get in and out of as they are attached to the sliding doors. They are easy to put on and then you just grab the shell and take it out. I think I've read reports of rust but haven't seen one yet.
