The Faraday cage must be grounded to work properly.

The Faraday cage must be grounded for proper operation. Without ground, it is most likely acting as an antenna. You have to research this yourself.

Don't Buy This From Phone Pendants

The case for the cell phone is of such poor quality that when trying to put the cell phone in, not only did the seams rip, it also doesn't fit in the case. This product is in no way worth more than $50.

The only one I've tried works

I got this after trying other faraday cages and this is the only one that completely blocks all signals. I have two now and we also use them to keep our phones on at night to block EMI while we sleep. We love these things.

except that it seems even cheaper and very thin. A shielded pocket to hold your .

The case itself is basically a large Altoids case like new, except it appears even cheaper and very thin. The shielded pocket you put your phone in doesn't impress either. I really don't understand how it costs anywhere near $50. Wouldn't recommend it.

Don't waste your time.

Not working. As others have said, I had to take my iPhone out of the Mophie case it was in to even fit in the box. When I got there and the phone was fully wrapped in the blanket that came with it, I still had full access to my phone. I was able to call the phone while it was in the box (heard it ring) and had a constant "ping" to the phone's IP address. It slowed down from time to time but never dropped packets. That does not work.
