Don't waste your money

I got this product for my rabbit. I thought it looked great. You should assemble it yourself with gorilla glue or something that allows it to hold together if you don't let it fall apart Good try at making this product. I will say it worked for me for a while my bunnies loved it but I wouldn't recommend it

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Plumbing and Clutter

Overall I love this wooden feeder! Assembly took longer than expected. I used Gorilla Glue to hold everything in place. I like that I can pack hay and it will last for three or four days. My rabbit has no problem eating this and hasn't turned it over yet. We've been using it for about three months.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Unsafe

Guinea Pig Rescue - Feeding and Drinking Supplies

Bought this twice and soon for the third time for my guinea pigs at the guinea pig sanctuary. This is probably the best hay feeding I've found on any platform. I recommend gluing the pieces together for greater strength. Guinea pigs love this product! If you have a place for this product, I recommend this product 100%.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not bad

DIY project in constant supply

Watch out for reviews that say it had to be glued or modified to hold the pieces together. It won't stick unless you do so or are very gentle with it - you can't lay too much hay at once. The guy defeats the "no glue or nails" objective, and you'll refill him frequently. Assembly requires patience and finesse, the holes are a bit uneven in depth and width, and that's enough to not hold the pins as tightly as in the video.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Tape

Considering buying a second one

I bought this product for my flock of 15 guinea pigs. It works well. I used wood glue and some staples to hold it together. It works as described. I don't use a lid because I stuff it with hay all the time. It serves its purpose by holding my hay. all in one place in my cage cleaner. That's why I bought it. It's more than I thought. Comes with a nice sturdy box and well packaged. I'm actually considering buying a second one.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Buying a second one

Yes you can put some glue in the holes during assembly but it doesn't matter much. This is an exceptional hay holder. I've tried many others available (usually plastic or metal) and even made my own out of wood. It surpasses them all. Big enough that you don't have to refill it every day (like the smaller ones require); The bottom contains the hay they pull out (a design flaw of what I built). And wood is safe for rabbits. Correct size, contains clutter, great design.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not the best

Good buy, suitable for feeding and watering equipment

My rabbit loves it as a chew toy! I love the concept but it won't last long because my bunnies are chewing on it. It was a little tricky to put together as the chopsticks are easy to fall out and hard to fit into the holes, but once you take it out and put the top on it feels pretty solid. However, you'll go through the fight again once you refill it. It holds a lot of hay and is definitely less messy than hay elsewhere. The lower part contains hay that falls down when the rabbit eats, which is

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons

Poor quality wrong product

One side came with holes punched from the wrong side so the product could not be assembled. I don't even understand how your assembly line can be so bad that nobody catches holes that are on opposite sides when they should be on the same side! Edit: The replacement came and this time the holes were drilled on the right side but the build was still very crappy. Some pins were so loose they fell out while others didn't go in at all. It wobbles a lot even when properly assembled and can be easily…

Pros
  • Hands free kit
Cons
  • Very expensive
