I'm a heavy sleeper so I wanted a loud alarm and damn it I got it! You will wake the dead! And have a good rubber bottom to prevent slipping.

Loud, loud, loud! I recommend this to anyone living alone and anyone looking for a little more security. Especially for the price! All single girls and single moms will get some of these. I bought 2 and will be getting more. Extremely loud!

I ordered this for my traveling daughter. I heard these alarms in hotels when traveling and wondered what it was; now I know. It can slide on smooth tile floors like mine, but not hardwood or carpeted floors. She plans to use it in her house on the patio door. The volume is set to low, with a range of high, medium, or low.

In theory this was a great idea. However, it does not provide a proper fit and does not act as a "door stopper". Without a proper fitment to the door, the alarm will not work, rendering the item virtually useless for what it was. I had to return it. It doesn't work and doesn't serve the purpose for which it was designed. I think it was false advertising.

DAS DING IS LOUD! I bought this travel alarm clock and decided to try it at home as I put in batteries (not included). It startled my wife and made her wince it was so loud. It will definitely wake you up when it goes out! There are sensitivity and on/off settings. It's not uncommon, but it comes in handy when you need basic security when you're out and about.

I really like this alarm. I don't have a full home security system. If I feel anything when I hear an alarm, I have time to call 9-1-1 as my house is quite large and I use them at the bottom of the front door and the back front door. I also think they will be useful for parents with young children or the elderly just to know that the door is open. It's very noisy, I can hear it from my neighbor.

Just attempted to install but after a late purchase. Bought two, one works, one doesn't. I wanted them for the door on the other side of my house as I live alone. Brand new 9 volt batteries. As for the one that worked. The volume isn't that loud even though it has an HML switch. Although suitable for the door of a hotel room. Very disappointed. And returning the item costs more money than I paid. just so you know

That's a great concept, but it doesn't match the front door of the right apartment, at least not mine. The wedge is too big to insert the tip underneath to use it. This works on a bathroom or bedroom door if there's a gap underneath, but every apartment I've lived in is way too low off the floor (to control the temp I think). I think it's better to use one of the magnetic alarms for the side of the door, but I was hoping it would work because I liked the concept of stopping someone from pushing

*VERY* LOUD, LOUD, LOUD! Definitely works, does what it's supposed to. Lol in the photos it shows it next to a standard size Bic lighter. I wish there was a volume control, not sensitivity.
