Low quality scan for scanner

Even after many attempts to get good quality scans I still couldn't adjust the images properly to get good quality images.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Security

It is totally unusable

Everything about this product is terrible. It's extremely difficult to use, the instructions are sketchy at best, the cords are too short to easily plug into an outlet, the clarity and colors are unnatural and can't be adjusted for a clear picture. unusable

  • New
Cons
  • Nothing

Works for me!: Office electronics

They are easy to use. However, you have to be careful with the film drawer. Its plastic is flimsy and I expect it will break unless you carefully open the film compartment and insert the negatives. But I'm glad I was able to convert some old movies into digitized files.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Does a decent job but requires a bit of color work in Photoshop

The scanner is fairly easy to use with a few basic settings you can set beforehand (although I had to reset the settings every time I him did it use?). I found the scans came out quite high in contrast, the whites were overexposed and tended towards red, so I scanned them darker and adjusted the auto curves in Photoshop. However, there were some slides that I just couldn't scan properly - I lost too much detail.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

Works as advertised!

I've used slide converters in the past but wasn't happy with the results. This time I was pleasantly surprised. The device worked as advertised. You don't need a computer, but you do need a SanDisk card to take pictures. It has a very limited internal memory, but transferring images to a computer is much more difficult. The quality of a digital image obviously depends on the quality of the slide/film/etc. away. However, I felt that the digital image was as good as the slide. I suggest that you…

Color cannot be balanced.

Although there is brightness and color adjustment, this device does not adjust the desired color. I sent back the first one I bought and received the replacement today. Unfortunately, replacing the device produces the same results. The scanner is quite easy to use, but it does not give the desired results. I would not recommend this product. Update February 12, 2020 I'm only increasing my rating to 2 stars because a company representative contacted me about my review and if I read the email…
