Damaged filters. There was no protection against crushing and bursting of filters in the box. I was looking forward to using these respected filters, but I can't rate their effectiveness.

Excellent price for these filters. I saw a pack of 4 at C***co and there were more. They fit well and are a step above the basics. Living in Arizona we get LOTS of dust which does a good job of keeping our air conditioning running happily and making our dirty air more breathable.

This is a very good product and this is our second purchase. I made a mistake and wrote a bad review about the wrong product. I didn't follow the product closely when it came out; and just started writing. I'm sorry that happened. WILL ORDER THIS PRODUCT MORE! Thank you for understanding.

Quality is better than I expected. This was my first purchase and I plan to purchase more. They are a little smaller than the ones I bought from Lowes and even fit better. I used to have to use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the ends and press them into place. I was scared when I had to change them because it was such a problem. Now it takes 2 seconds.

20x30x1 does not correspond to actual size The filter works fine, was surprised that the size does not fit. For 1 month of use, it did not fall apart or deform. I want the size corrected. There was dust on the front of the filter, similar to other filter changes. Our Trane XL1200 system also features an electrostatic pre-filter. I wash it once a year. When I test it I will know if it has excessive dust on it and will update here.

The outside size is about 1/4 inch smaller than other brands. GOOD TIME if your air return frame was installed with ratchet head screws THESE SAWS ARE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. It was a nightmare for me with the exact 20x30 IN mounting it to the top 18ft ceiling. A SMALL cut is made to leave room for the screw heads. BRILLIANT

These filters worked great! A set of 6 pieces is cheaper, but the price of 4 pieces is not too high. Ease of installation. I change them every two weeks as the house I'm in is old and the air vents have years of dirt in them. Can't say I've noticed fresher air, but I felt good about changing the filter more often. I looked at the AC filters and saw that they had a good rating so I bought 6. Not very happy, they are a bit narrower and fell into the backcourt. I need to find a way to keep them stable without making noise. We've only recently had issues with noise in this return (singing/whining) which I think is related to the filters as the return hasn't had an issue in the last 20 years (replaced entire unit 5 years ago). I have been buying FilterBuy Merv 8 filters for many years. They have always fitted perfectly in my 19.75" x 29.75" x 0.75" intake plenum. Ground clearance 0.125" all around. As always, I simply logged into Revain and clicked the Buy Again button to place a new order. Imagine my surprise when a new order came in and they were 0.25 inches smaller in width and length.
